Picked up a few of these in Tesco earlier today along with a few Broadsides. I'm familiar with the latter even if it has been a while though the stout is new to me - it's lovely!

Looks like a specimen from a clap clinic and is rather uninspiring
I hope the next beer is better...
This is better.

This is really nice , has a nice subtle tomatoey flavour with basil hints
Followed by this which is seriously good, apparently classed as a larger , chocolatey with almost smokey finish

Beer-nic can-share today with a couple of pals.
And now I’m rounding off the evening with this...
I found 300 laps to be quite sweet and lacking in any other flavour. Not bitter at all. Not good though.
Invisible ceiling - nothing more than drinkable, definitely not exceptional in my opinion.
I do tend to prefer a fuller hop flavour such as a good Citra or chinook. I have had better beers than both.
Still if we all like the same think the world would be boring! :-)

Tonight's tipple.
Looking forward to a pint pulled in a pub though.

I shan’t and shouldn’t argue the toss on how you find those two. We all experience taste, smell, texture differently and preference is a very personal thing.
To your last point, absolutely agree.
I find that, more than ever, I want variety in what I have because if I don’t I soon get a bit jaded with one style or another. I’ve come to re-appreciate some of the best traditional ales of the U.K.; the simple pleasures of the best German lagers, exploring different tastes and flavour profiles of Belgian Saisons and Lambics, the big profiles of adjunct-laden barrel-aged stouts, and remembered how much I love US West Coast-style beers. I do still enjoy the gloop of course though!
I was not looking for an argument, opinions are like ar5eholes - we all have one! As you say we all experience things differently.
I had a gift arrive today, a mate has signed me up to Beer 52. 6 Belgian beers and a small snack arrived ready for this evening. Apparently they send 6 beers from around the world month, it will be nice to try something not often available. I have not had any Belgian beer for age.
Some great beers shared of late and a few added to the to try list. Nothing exciting for me later a few stubby cans of moretti chilling in the fridge..
Apologies if that came across as confrontational, I did not intend it to be at all. I took your post exactly as you intended.
I look forward to hearing about your experience with the Belgian beers. A couple of friends subscribe to B52 and enjoy it. In that box I believe you have a beer called Souterik by Brasserie de la Senne, which I like. They make some good beers.
If you like to try variety may I recommend looking at beersofeurope.co.uk who often have a good selection (from Europe and beyond) at reasonable prices.
I will have a look at that website cheers
I actually didn’t try any of the Belgian beers last night. I was on home brew instead. (Woke up with a sore head this morning)
This is the first tonight.
Belgian IPA by Brouwerij Lekker
It’s not bad.
This is better, it’s actually very nice

A couple of boxes arrived from Dead Crafty in Liverpool and Fuggles in Tunbridge Wells to top up the cellar yesterday.
Lots of Other Half hype gloop...
And a selection to round up boxes to 12...
Cruised through these last night.
And this evening, here’s the roll-call. Cheers all!
Sadler's Mud City stout is on offer on Amazon for £14.10 for 8 x 500ml bottles, free postage on orders over £20. It would have been rude not to . . .

TFI Friday!
After three (very average) pints at the Meantime Brewery (apart from the London Lager they’ve ruined the bloody beers) it was back home for a couple of juicy, fruity numbers and a dark, stormy sipping-drinker of an Impy Stout.
And it’s a quadruple bonus because I’ve now got 10 days off. Woo-hoo!
It’s a bit early to start but I have just had a delivery
Looking forward to trying the colab brews this evening
The Nevermore India Porter looks to be interesting.
Must remove her soft drinks, they take up space.
NOW THAT’S A FRIDGE
For of sustenance and goodness. Including many of your 5/day. Grapes and maybe apples

Snoozed and missed those on a busy afternoon. Bloody work!
Had a few glorious pints of IPA yesterday after work. Wife and I met up with some friends outside at our local. Great to see them in person (rather than chatting over WhatsApp).
Mmmm beer indeed.

Just about on topic. Any recommended glassware please from which to consume a decent beer must be able to hold the 500ml plus space for a head.

I’m a big fan of Spiegelau glasses (have a Google), they do all sorts depending what you’re after. I bought a set of craftbeer glasses from them which contained a Weizen glass, a Pilsner glass, an IPA glass and a Stout glass. Very good quality and dishwasher safe.
I also bought some classic dimple pint pots from an Amazon retailer (I think they were about £8 for a 6-pack) so could have nostalgic ales at home.
