He must have polished the logo off the buckle... or something. In fact, that doesn't look like the bracelet that originally came with the watch.

I know there are one or two members on the lookout.

Read the description and look at the first image.
Smiths PRS-25W Everest Expedition 36mm watch Timefactors.
Watch it's self is in lovely condition hardly wore NO marks, dings or dents glass is perfect. Just check out the pictures as it is key to the condition to watch.
only selling due to buying another watch must thin out my collection first.
Comes fitted on a Alpha Rivited bracelet.
Also included is a Smiths Everest standard Oyster style "Non-rivet" bracelet with ratchet clasp, as well as the supplied leather strap with sewn-in roller clasp unworn.

It looks like a good deal - some people can't read.
Wonder if the seller is a member of the forum ?
"Once is happenstance. Twice is coincidence. The third time it's enemy action."
"You gotta know when to hold em and know when to fold em".
I could feel something wasn't right but I was too sleepy last night to figure it out. So... he had a big buckle PRS-36... he bought an Alpha bracelet but didnt like it, so he got an Expedition, swapped the bracelets (keeping the Expedition one) and now selling the remnants for a tad more. Just saying.
The advert is totally truthful about what is being sold? OUTRAGE. Don't worry, we'll get this taken down.
No outrage from me, - bloke selling a mint Expedition including two bracelets (okay not original to the watch), one of only 100 currently in circulation with the next batch arriving May - June who knows when.
No connection with the seller but seems like a reasonable deal.

I don't see how it could be much clearer. No logo polishing involved."Comes fitted on a Alpha Rivited bracelet.

Well I'm now watching this with interest. I wonder if the Alpha clasp fits the oyster bracelet?
I am not talking about the polishing, we have moved on from that. I am talking about the "confusion" (and I am not inferring that it was done to deceive) over the bracelet in the box.
Even after a number of exchanges, Mr Kutusov #4 thought the original band was in the box... Mr number2 #13 called it a "mint with two extra bracelets".
It is confusing and most wouldn't even know (or by the look of it care about) what actually happened.

It went pretty quickly - did anyone here buy it?

Seemed to rely a lot on the photos to describe the condition, and stated that........which raised my eyebrows.
Feedback at 100% and eBay protection, I'd have taken a punt on it if I'd been in the market for one.
Seems to have got through a few Timefactors watches. Could be a member here.
Item as described. Great service. Thanks.

What threw me was that the buckle of the Alpha has similar (practically identical) polished edges as the Expedition's.
I don't know why this guy wouldn't just sell the Expedition as it came ... messing about with the straps has got to hit the final sale amount he will achieve.
He could have listed as it came, and then bought himself the Smiths rivet bracelet for his black dial PRS-25 (assuming he still has it) for £46 out of his probable profits ...
If he was a member on here, he could also have swapped his ratchet clasp bracelet for the rivet bracelet, as someone was looking to do exactly that on Sales Corner recently.
Times are tough even for those trying to sell the much sought after Everest Expedition. Had one end yesterday with no sale. They were starting out bidding at $550.00 and no takers. They have not relisted it yet but the day is still young.
Looks like the one in the OP is doing the rounds:

I now own this particular watch with the two bracelets and one strap.
Condition is close to new. It’s only about 5 months old.
Removed the rivet bracelet and tried the heavy duty bracelet. That looked nicer.
However, I felt the adjustable clasp is too bulky for this small watch.
Currently have it on a camo nato. That’s not working either for me as the rings are black.
Ordered a cream nato a few minutes ago.
Will give that a go. Might try the Hirsch Robby in black and red.
It’s a lovely looking watch.
Personally, given the value of the watch. I like the reasonable quality Everest bracelet. But with a smaller clasp. Needs to be better quality than the rivet bracelets clasp.
Will keep looking. But you can’t see and feel these things easily.
Have about 6 stainless steel bracelets that I won’t use.
Reluctant to blindly order more.

^^^ I was looking at a video review of the EXP last night and I was thinking a tan nato was the way to go – you have proved me right in my thinking!
Whilst the black dialled Everest looks good on bracelet or Nato, I think the Expedition version cries out for dark brown leather for a good period look.
