If by “boys” you mean men soon to be eligible for a bus pass, but yes, they are back and let’s hope they’ve put some effort in this time.
Personally I’m really looking forward to the return of Top Gear.

There are plenty of genuinely-funny parts of TGT.
That and the feature on Jim Clark - fantastic.
Childish they are, but it is good entertainment in my opinion. Looking forward to both TGT and TG returning. Room for both now.

Looking forward to this.
When you look long into an abyss, the abyss looks long into you.........
Childish they are, and I feel that is enviable. The acting for the camera element aside, what's wrong with acting like a child and just having some silly fun? Considering the idea that it's just acting, well it still makes me long for not worrying so much about life and just going about and being a bit daft once in a while. The challenges they do are the stuff my younger self would only dream about, and are things I'd still dream about. Hat off to them.
Looking forward to it.
Bit of a shame to see not much love for them here. I think its great entertainment.
I've always thought Clarkson was a bit of a plonker but at least he's now admitted that man-made climate change is a thing.
Good alternative to Temazepam I suppose....
Funny once, but years of rinse/repeat means I’ve totally lost interest. I don’t thing the stench of smugness helped much either!

there'll be some new old watches or some new watches then plus there are sometimes clips of their houses and I think - how much are you earning? (jealousy is a terrible thing)
Lots of people will feel the need to tell everybody that they hated it for various reasons, and they will watch every episode so that they can tell everybody how much they hate it.

Series 1 maybe, but surely not now? I haven’t seen any marketing for this (3rd?) series and none of my friends or colleagues has even mentioned the program in 18 months. I didn’t even watch beyond the first couple of episodes of the 2nd season and then forgot it existed it was so ‘meh’. Happy it exists if there’s an audience but it’s not on the radar of ‘must see TV’ at all is it?

Glad it is back. I only just watched the final episode on prime a couple of weeks back. The grand tours they do were nearly always better than those that were set around the studio
I like it,in a world of total dross reality z list celebrity b*ll*x tv ,it’s an hour of escapism often in amazing looking parts of the world..if you don’t like it don’t watch it! Simple really isn’t it🙄
This ^^^^^^^ however I have recently found myself reruns of Fast and Loud, chasing Cars, Counting Cars, Kindig, Overhaullin, etc, etc plus watching woodworking and golfing videos on YouTube, so what do I know.
Fortunately it mostly harmless fun and better entertainment (IMHO) than watching some Z lister cry on a reality TV show.

Episode 1 is set on the Mekong Delta, but a lot of the short clips were actually filmed on the Saigon River.
I sat next to them in the restaurant (The Deck, District 2) next to our apartment one eveing after filming.

Really enjoyed seamen, Truly brilliant episode
Enjoying it greatly. Liked the very brief watch scene.
Good start.

Just finished watching episode 1. Not bad at all. Not the best ever, but good enough. As is often the case, the historical segments were the best bits. Now this is probably crazy thinking, but you know how the BBC have been looking without success for an eventual replacement for David Attenborough? Clarkson, ironically, could fill that role.
I’ve been saying Hublot wrong all these years!
In a pleasing bit of symmetry, exactly one year after this thread was started, it's time to look forward to this year's annual episode of the Grand Tour: A Massive Hunt (due on 18th December)
Nice!
During the March & April lockdown, I've enjoyed the James May's travels in Japan. That certainly lifted the spirit during that period.

I've nothing against them, good luck to them, but its a format that got tiring many years ago for me.
Comparing it to Z-list get me out of here celebrities - well that's not the only TV available now, is it.
Indeed - I went to the effort of watching the first series of the Grand Tour, because the idea of watching a Top Gear fronted by Chris Evans was, frankly, my worst nightmare.
However, I didn't enjoy the Grand Tour much and I've not bothered to watch any of the subsequent series even when we've had an Amazon Prime trial on!
I didn't mind the Harris/Le Blanc/Rory trio on Top Gear too much and quite enjoyed the first series with McGinty/Freddie/Harris, but I found the recent one hard work.
That said, it was stymied a bit, I'm sure, by Covid, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and try the next series.
A few times recently we've watched old re-runs of CMH at their best and it's still good, it just, as Roberto says, ran its course.

Jeremy Clarkson has been busy, and now owns an farm. And an farm shop.
His farm shop sells, among other things, scented candles.
Jeremy Clarkson and scented candles are mutually exclusive, you would think.
Not necessarily: https://diddlysquatfarmshop.com/coll...ollocks-candle

I’ve watched the first series but not had Prime since, the bits I’ve seen look a continuation of before, not a bad thing, I’d love their job.

The latest episode has dropped, after much delay. They are back in cars, good scenery, usual japes. I enjoyed it.
