Saw this today in a jewellers shop window in Spain.
As it was siesta time couldn't get a good look or idea of price, any thoughts?

Unfortunately i cant get back until Monday so was just asking if anyone has any experience of this model.
I saw one in Wempe in Berlin last week. It looked decent enough but reminded me of a few other watches. I didn't notice the price though.
However nice it is buy it grey baume and mercier take a pounding on the grey market I remember Joma had something crazy like 75% off Rrp at one point.
I saw this at the WoS on regents street, they seem to be doing a promotion with the actual cobra car inside the store. The watch is nice enough, if not somewhat quite large. Didn't tempt me to handle one and it the association with the car does nothing for me.
in France it retails at 4100 euro = 3500 pounds
Lovely design and I'd wear it but it's a 7750 so overpriced for me. Also, the servicing costs on a Chrono are a hard blow if you're not completely committed.
The 7750 is a great movement but its place is in budget to mid priced watches.
Don't get your issue, the price point of this watch is standard territory for 7750. Breitling use the variant don't they? If I was buying a Chrono I'd want to know it wasn't fragile.
Mostly all Chrono's will be from some variant or other. Daytona for instance based on El Primero.
Paul serviced my old 7750 for under £200 including a number of new components so it doesn't have to be expensive.
thanks for the replies and advice
The second generation Daytona were modified El Primero running at 28,800. The first iteration were Valjoux 72 (from memory and someone please correct me if wrong).
My problem with the 7750 is that this is a $450 movement (give or take) in a watch costing ten times that. I understand that the overall design matters but that's a balance I struggle with. With generic designs, you can't play the R&D card in justifying your price.
You've got to like yellow ...
Oh dear- not good. For a watch/car relationship, you can't beat the old Panerai's. There were fab.
