Yes, I have both (as of this morning). It looks the same size ( looking straight on), but the MN wears thinner, and a tad lighter, meaning that it moves less on the wrist. You do notice the squared lug gap, and all the bezel indices. The bezel is easier to grip and move, quieter with 120 not 60 click. The dial looks larger, as it has a much narrower sloped chapter ring.

I stopped by my local AD today to have a little chat/ gentle reminder that I'm alive and still waiting for a Sub. Anyway I asked if they have had any FXD models in and intended to put my name down for one. Got a blank look from the assistant as she wasn't familiar with the model. Off she goes to talk to a colleague, comes back and amazingly they had one in. No waitlist as they didn't think they would get one till much later in the year and it had just come in, so mine if i want it!

Thanks hopefully you'll get a call soon. From what I was told there isn't huge demand but they also aren't getting many in. Obviously so little general interest the first assistant didn't even know about them.
In contrast during the 30mins I was there four people came in asking for Rolex models. That must get so tedious for the staff.
I’d be genuinely surprised if this model is in high demand once the initial launch fades. Yes it looks quite nice, it’s a bit of a WIS choice because of the fixed lug set-up, and because of that I can’t see the man in the street giving it a second look. He or she is surely much more likely to plump for a BB of some description. And the MS21/MS22 is a bit gimmicky isn’t it? Seems like an effort to make it feel more limited and special, but smacks of Walter Mitty. I haven’t followed it that closely but I think it’s been issued to the French forces but in a slightly dare I say cynical marketing move to give it a military background. Give it a year they’ll be in every window I reckon.

I would agree with this. Certainly on release it has that that Milsub feel to it only with a French connection instead of British. It certainly feels popular at present with people on watch forums, but once the initial demand has been satisfied I’m sure things will calm down a little and these will appear in shop windows in time. I would guess that the casual guy on the street will opt for something else rather than this, which will be seen as something a little different or even specialist.
I understand the current French issued ones only have two lines of text to distinguish them from the commercial release. It will be interesting what sort of prices those fetch if any ever hit the second hand market. For the serious collector I’m guessing the two liner is the one to own.
Yes I've read the issued watch is different. I think it's a great size. If they had the standard Pelagos in this size I would have gone for that instead but for me it was just to tall and I prefer this shade of blue.
Overall I can't see the demand lasting either but if they don't make that many (and don't change the size of the regular Pelagos) then it might.
This was the first watch my AD had and they had no idea when they might get another.

The demand for this will last.
My AD has, at present, a few years' worth of names on his list, given they are only expecting 2 or 3 this year.
The incremental improvement the small changes all make over the standard model make it very compelling.
And as we all know, limiting supply increases demand.
22mm Ryan …typical .
Well done Rob great result…imho
I think demand will be steady as even if you discount the Marine Nationale link its a bloody good tool / divers watch with decent specs for what is a reasonable £ 2910….sorry now £3000

They had one in WOS, T3 on Thursday. Walked next door to Pret to buy a sandwich and a coffee and went back for another look 30mins later and it had sold.
I wasn't buying so not too concerned. Nice watch though...
I think they may not produce them in big numbers. So will keep demand at level.
OTOH, I don’t mind if they are easily available.
I cannot be fussed to make dealer rounds. Will definitely buy if available.
Watches of Whitby have one in stock. It’s a 22 and priced at £5199.
How does everyone find the bezel action? I've got a BB58 and the action on that feels great. The FXD feels nowhere near as nice especially moving clockwise. I expected the 120 click bezel to feel a little different but I'm wondering if something isn't quite right. Anti clockwise I feel every click although its not as smooth as i would maybe expect, clockwise I struggle to feel every click and turn it smoothly without jumping a few clicks. Hopefully that makes sense.
Obviously I can take it back to the AD but unlike most models they wont have another to compare it to so wanted to check what others are like.
Bezel is definitely tough but I think it's meant to be like that. Must be as it's bidirectional?
Have really missed the Pelagos bezel, love the lume.
The watch Steward have a nice option in the G series. Ive had there original version and was very impressed.

Just received couple of Nick Mankey straps. A plain black one and their take on the Marine Nationale colour. Took a couple of months to arrive but they seem very well made and love that the strap doesn't pass underneath the case

Got the call yesterday, watch #2 at my AD and the first M.N.22 they'd received after the initial M.N.21 last December.
Best watch in the world for me, bar none, and the watch I've been waiting for since I got into watches. No pretentions, no shiny bling-bling, no fussy gimmicks, just a solid movement inside a solid titanium case from a quality brand. Perfection personified.
On one of Eddie's old silver-grey NATOs for now while I wait for the short version of the OEM Tudor velcro NATO I've ordered to arrive:
I was told by my local EJ that a big batch is due in May. That's what they told me, I've no way of verifying one way or the other but I'm on a list so will find out
I’m off to pick mine up now, they said it was the first one that they have had in since the initial MN21
I think it definitely delivers. I knew I would like it as it ticks my boxes but first impressions are probably better than I’d expected.
It’s not my first Tudor but even though I’m only an hour in, I would say it’s the best. I can see this getting a lot of wrist time. It will be interesting to see how I feel after the honeymoon period.
Had this on all day and it’s great! Such a good watch! Ordered a erikas to come and then I think it will be perfect!

Anyone know what the availability of these are like now?
Got mine a week ago, ordered via the Marine Nationale PX, 1st batch, 150 FXD delivered yet, 3 more batches to come until 2022 ended, 600 watches in total
Nope, 600 is the number of watch for MN personnel available through our PX, which can be ordered via 4 batches of 150 watches each.
The first 150 were supposed to be MN21, but we all got MN22 instead, 2nd ans 3rd batches will be MN22 for sure, last batch supposed to be MN23
Hope I'm clear enough :)
Thanks for the clarification, it did seem a low number
What’s PX?
Obligatory pic
The PX (post exchange) for the Navy and Marine Corps and BX (base exchange) for the Army and Air Force is a store where various goods, clothing, and other things are sold to those who have the privilege of shopping there
