Just think what price these will be when the dial goes tropical..Eddie - keep hold of any spare dials and get the bleach/uv light ready.

Something of a crossing of wires here, surely??
Ernie Romers, the founder of Watchuseek, was the original owner of no. 006, according to the list in post 3 of this thread:

The card bearing his signature is a nice little piece of provenance.

How much did they cost originally?
Eddie. You could make a fortune with a limited edition re-issue. Just saying...

From the site - Given the amount of discussion the PRS-2 has created over the last decade, it is sometimes difficult to believe that only 200 pieces were produced and will ever be produced.
We do love a few facts here on tz-uk (been looking for an excuse to use the phrase )
The point of things has always been a limited stays limited. Eddie will not re-issue. If you want a 're-issue' you have the Voyager which is a phenomenal watch in its own right, I've been wearing it constantly for the last 2 weeks.

I doubt very much it will sell at that price
Things are only worth what people will pay for things
The original price given the specification and quality is amazing
There is even someone in the states on Ebay listing a Dreadnought Voyager with no box and papers for US$2000
Mad world
The Dreadnaught deservedly commands a place in recent horological history - it was a unique design, incredible quality and sold on the internet. This was the original micro brand diver and kicked off an entire new watch brand concept.
Given how more mainstream brands seem to shoot up in crazy value, why shouldn't a micro brand watch which is genuinely limited and admired do the same?
There is one on SC for 1800 Euros now
And another.

I love my PRS-2. The only one with a PERFECT "0" deviation in all positions on the chronometer certificate. :D
