I can say they look like overpriced quartz fashion watches that should be sold in a mall hallway from a wagon by a spotty faced 16 yr old. Horrible, garrish and heinous jumble designs.
Post some wrist shots when you get one. :thumbleft:
Amazon keep emailing me about watches for sale and this Breil keeps catching my eye
Anybody had experience of this brand?

Fashion brand, so I don't think you'll find a lot of love for them on the forum.
regards,
Nick
I can tell you that Charlize Theron is the face of their brand, but I don't know much else.
I'm suddenly experiencing a curious brand attraction

Sorry here is the picture
There was a good eBay shop full of them at heavily discounted prices so I would look there as well as Amazon. Some of them seemed quite nice but given the discounts you certainly don't want to pay full price for them !
I always think of them as half a Breitling...What can you tell me about breil watches?
Breitling

You guys should not underastimate Breil. They do make fashion watches, but they have some nice vintage divers. Just google Breil Manta. The vintage 1970's Manta's are great. The new 1970 hommages are not bad. I found this on the WWW:

The mother company is infact the distributor of Seiko in italy, which should give them kudos, but for them it's most probably just a niche business thing.
they launched the hip-hop parfumed rubber watch in the 80's which was a strong competitor to swatch, since you were not able to smell a swatch, and they came in differen odors as well, which was really cool.
now they have a re-edition out, with no smella dn of asian manufacture, but the sale price is the same a 25 years ago.
then they were the first to sell chinese manufactured steel jewelry at the same price of silver jewellery, and making tons of money out of it.
That's how they payed mrs theron there.
The mother company, binda group is a family run business, they are also the company behing many other big fashion brands, like Dolce and Gabbana, Donna Karan and stuff like that, if I recall correctly.
ciao
Breil are coming up in my estimation :D
Thats not all thats coming up :lol:Originally Posted by snedboy

I asked the same question a little while ago..wasn't much love or response. Guess they are one of those brands that falls through the cracks...even fashion watches on here get love sometimes but Breil falls into a void.
Some of the ones I've seen I like personally. Not sure if I'd get one now though.
I think this is the shop, but was a while ago I saw it so can't be certain now, also the discounts here seem to be 20% & sure was more like 50%.Originally Posted by snedboy

You could also try searching for Ducati watches as this is how I stumbled across it before
And with advertisements like that i am not suprised :D

Ads are nice though.
Good point...is it pronounced 'Braille' or 'Brile'?Originally Posted by Billyloves2boogie
The wife has a few which she likes. I'd consider them fashion watches more marketed towards women. They do make some interesting men's watches.
I used to have a Breil a while ago, lovely watch, square case, circular face, chrono. Not expensive by some standards but not cheap either 2-300 gbp in some cases. Customer service was very good (Mine had a crown that popped off somehow and water got in. All resolved FOC). Nice weight to the watch, good quality (quartz) and all in all a nice watch. Something a little different at that price point to Seiko or the definite fashion watches like diesel, Armani etc.
Their jewellery is nice too, bought the gf a gorgeous brushed steel bracelet thing that she still wears. She also liked the gold rose watch Charlize wore for the ads a few years ago but couldn't get one for love or, well money...
Now that was laugh out loud funny . . .Originally Posted by JDB
