Large watches with a date in the middle of the dial, if you must have a date on a large watch put it at 6 and colour match it to the dial so it doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb

Minute hands that shift slightly when you push the crown in. Quartz second hands that miss the markers. Digi-anas with barely visible LCD displays.

Ditto ones you have to set slightly beyond the minute marker so it hopefully lands exactly on the marker of the next minute after the movement has caught up.
Totally improper science and take *a number of tries to get right.
