I definitely prefer that to the artisan de geneve daytona. Love the case back, thats how I wish all rolex case backs were.
I’m not really sure what to make of this. Normally I dislike modified Rolexes straightaway. This ones taking at little longer to digest. I do like the back.

I like it, most probably because Pirlo was the "coolest" dude ever to play.
I like it. I think it looks different, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
Looks like a footballers watch.
Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.
Whenever anyone arses about with a Rolex, they always look naff- like they're trying to reinvent the wheel and this is no exception.
I wouldn’t mind if RSC would put those chamfers on the maxi case at service.
Looks better than the standard Sub to me. I like it a lot.
I like this a lot, I suspect the vitriol will come because it’s a Rolex and you’re not allowed to play with those. Ever. Other brands would get an easier ride.
Nice to see a variation on the old antique Rolex design. If companies don't innovate and bring in new designs, even if sold alongside existing ones, others will.
Actually I quite like that as well I hate to think how much it cost to do that though

Presumably the clock is ticking on when Hand Wilsdorf Fdn. take legal action against the modifiers...?
It's a personalized watch for someone who can afford it. If it was on SC against a non mod Sub which do we think will sell the fastest and hold its value? I tend to go with my head on these things. If it was money no object then I might consider one
I like it... apart from the case.
Wouldn't it be better with a black DLC treatment (to match the movement mods)...
- or even use a different case design ?

Funny seeing Spike Lee among their customers, I thought he was a G-Shock man!

It looks hideous. There is something wrong with a skeleton dial and a thick divers bezel.

I quit like the JPMontoya one.
I love how he sees it himself... "Unparalleled" "It resonates with me and my career. It is a work of art."...
...a joy to hear from such a grounded and wonderfully humble human being.
As for the watch... It's like putting a disco wig on the Mona Lisa...
At least it’s better looking than this !

Watch is not my cup of tea.
I loved Pirlo as a player though. :D
Lug chamfer really softens the maxi case well - I like that.
The rest is not my cup of tea.

The more I look at it the more I appreciate the details, the floating Rolex logo mentioned above the decision to matt back usually polished planes. I would probably shudder at the price though

Yes please from me, but I am a tart (so the wife says!)

“Don’t look back, you’re not heading that way.”
If they were cheaper than an original I could be tempted, but it's like putting after market alloys on a car, they never look quite right.
Very few Rolex mods that I like and not a fan of skeleton dial at all but this looks very nicely done.
No from me I don’t think that side of the movement is pretty enough to be skeletonised, would be nicer to have a display case back mod

That movement wont run very well for very long... Theres a reason Rolex dont skeletonize their movements. As a decorative showpiece though its quite well made.
I like the Daytonas, especially Montoya's.
Who is going to make a market on price of modification?!
The Montoya Daytona is nice. Obviously the skeleton design will be polarisng but other than that the dial design is much nicer than a standard Daytona.
And this one is stunning, so many elements are vastly improved, the pushers, less dial text, the sub dials, etc. I guess it's quite speedmaster like though.
