I finally took mine off the bracelet. Looks great on a variety of straps.
My favourite feature of the 116710LN is the green hand and name - really classy.
I agree with others that the black bezel version is unlikely to return, and even if it did I suspect it would return to the previous red GMT hand along with a jubilee bracelet - both would reduce the model's appeal to me I'm afraid.
The green hand and script really accentuates the Rolex look and feel of this watch; the black bezel also adds a bit of subtlety not present in the bi-colour versions.
I’ve also noticed that the 116710 LN is selling like hot cakes on the likes of Watchfinder and Chrono24. WF has sold at least a dozen since it was discontinued at Baselworld when other BLNRs, BLROs have remained static (accepting the obvious price differences of course).
Who knows, this one might ultimately be THE Rolex GMT to own, putting all the others in the shade? It’s a great watch and a real shame it can no longer be found at RRP - unless you’re very lucky!

Best watch I ever owned wore it in rotation for ten years and sold it on SC.
Mine hit its 10 year anniversary in March this year, originally bought in 2009 for £3900ish having negotiated a 10% discount... it seems times have changed. I havent been following the market but there seems to have been a sudden leap in value with models going for £8k upwards...
...is this a kneejerk reaction to the model being discontinued or is this likely to be ongoing market value? It doesnt seem a rare model so I am sure the market could be flooded with people happy to sell for a reasonable return?
