Superb selection Ian. Can you tell me who makes the vintage style straps please, specifically fond of the tan one at 11:00.
They are from Kaufmann http://www.kaufmann.de/en
The colour in the original picture was a bit washed out so here is a better shot of those
Thanks for that, are they made to order as I couldn't find that style on their site.
Sorry, their web site isn't great for showing the range. There are some shown on the German side of the web page http://www.kaufmann.de/de/collection/old-fashioned
They usually have to be ordered, but they do a range of standard sizes (18mm through 22mm) and can also do other sizes on request.
Feel free to PM me if you have any questions and I'll do my best to help out.
Thanks Ian
Wow thanks for posting this, love how you have not just different looking straps but a varied colour range as well
Love that one at '3 o'clock', right up my street. That would look good on a couple of my watches for sure.
12 and 3 o'clock look good. Any close ups showing thickness and buckle end too?
Also, no purple alligator straps? :)
I had someone who really wanted the purple alligator so I sold it to them I can always order another (or maybe I'll go orange or cherry red next time???)
Anyway to answer your question, yes those straps are quite thick.
I wear my Tuna on the same style and it hasn't caused me any problems, but I appreciate they won't be everyone's taste.
Thanks for reply.
I agree they would look nice on a dive watch. Thickness looks fine - only possibly an issue at the buckle where the overlay is very thick.
Are they supposed to be two different shades?
