Do yourself a favour a size it now, you don't want to go through that on Christmas morning!

Well it looks like it has been another decent day at the office for young Mr. Platts and the DN. A very popular piece you have created here Eddie, guaranteed to get folks talking. I can't imagine there are a huge number of these left.

Think Eddie had said one each only. You might have got away with it still, despite this incriminating post ;-).

I wonder if Eddie has had his Whisky yet.
Nearly 2am now and I'm hoping they sell out soon, so I can't be tempted.

I think they will last till late morning/early afternoon - no doubt people were thrown off by the timing of the second batch....

Absolutely. I have been keeping half an eye on the TF board for months but not really expecting to get one, especially after the rate of selling of the first batch.

When I checked last a couple of days ago, Eddie had mentioned they might be shipped in on Tues but probably Weds.

I casually checked the forum to see if the announcement of shop opening on Weds (today) had been announced but saw people were saying they had ordered on Tuesday afternoon/evening. Went straight to the shop and very surprised to see them still in stock.

Must've caught a lot of people unawares.
I'm sure they would have sold out in minutes again if, say, it had been announced they'd go on sale this morning at 9am.

As with many things in life, it's right time, right place.

Won't be counting my chickens until the package arrives though!

Is that the second hundred gone or the 40 odd of them that have already been delivered?

    Closure - 4 December 2013

Following the launch of the second batch of the Dreadnought Voyager yesterday, ordering is closed until all orders have been shipped.

    Apologies for any inconvenience.

I believe it was the first @ 40 or 50 from the second batch of 100, with the remainder to go out (I presume) after these are posted.

I think this was all of the second 100 minus the over run of the first sale but what do I know :-)

    This, yesterday at 13.06........

" I only received 40 today but another 55 were shipped yesterday (together with another 9 of the PRS-82). Eddie."

They are still shown as in stock, and adding one to the basket shows this message.....

You should give one to Chris Platts Eddie! He's a champion of your site and administers bollockings left right and centre to those on RAF northolt not wearing one of your marks! It would be worth the 900 quid in the 1000 forced sales he would generate!!! :-)

    Not sure why.

If someone were looking to buy a few to stick on eBay for a profit, or shove in a drawer for similar reasons, it would be disappointing but why would buying one for a family member to enjoy be so bad?

There's nothing to say that lots of the 200 aren't being put away as an investment rather than being worn.

What each person does with their watch (wear, put away etc.) is their lookout but the stipulation was not more than one per person so that more people get a chance to own one per family, if you like.

Nothing at all do do with me what anyone does if they can get away with it .

The second batch of the watch was available for long enough time for all the moaners to buy one if they really wanted.
Also, if the one watch per customer rule is to be enforced, there's only one person who can do that and has the necessary means.

I'm fine, thanks! I think you should keep those photos for yourself as it could be damaging for the morale of regular folks.

On a second thought, we all love to see wonder men in action, so why don't you post a pic in the "It's Friday" thread while wearing all 3 watches at the same time? Mind you, it might attract a ban but I'd say it'll be worth it!
