Must have accessory for a Sinn Fan?

Just came across this while browsing Jura.

    Not cheap, but rather cool!

Quite like it but my wife would hate it - so that would sadly be a non-starter for me.
Nice to see it though and thanks for sharing it.
    Actually,on the same site,I came across this:https://www.jurawatches.co.uk/produc...0-watch-lu-251
Will anyone own up to buying one?

How does it cope with the difference between European and UK time?

That Luminox thing says it's 200m water resistant, how much lead would you have to strap on it to make it sink ?

Sinn isn’t too bad but £900 for that Luminox? Movement probably cost few pounds.

Does the bezel rotate though? Essential for timing eggs.

Isn't it that all new watches and clocks made in Europe will have a Brexit button for quick UK adjustment?

I bought one of these from Chronomaster but had to return it—it's locked to European time, so was an hour out.

I love the way the Sinn one also has a picture of the standard Sinn box with the springbar tool included. Order one and then kick up merry hell when that doesn't arive (which it surely wouldn't).

I quite like the look of that, not something I would buy but still interesting. I did howver have a look at some of the other wall clocks they have and really like the look of the Junghans ones.

    Laughable.

I quite like the Mondaine clocks.

I bought a clock while visiting Germany one time.. it picks up the German radio signal so was an hour fast..... fortunately I can manually set the time for the UK.

I would have expected this Sinn Wall Clock to have a similar provision.

You can set the time manually on this one (according to Sinn's instructions), but surely that defeats the object of a radio controlled clock?

I have a digital clock that uses the DCF77 transmitter and that allows me to set the time zone in one hour increments. It's an alarm that I can take just about anywhere in Europe and expect it to receive a signal.

I'd been thinking of getting one last year, but since it's locked to GMT+1 I'm glad I didn't bother.
