Looks great.
Of no consequence, as it fits and looks so good, but I thought that was the strap for the 2500 PO?
Hey guys, just bought and fitted this today. Sorry for the quality of the photo, just a quickie to show the strap.
I'm very happy with it as it dresses down the Seamaster a tad which goes better with jeans etc plus I can always put the bracelet back on when needed.
For those interested, the strap was bought from the Omega Boutique Westfield and is the 98000085 reference number, with Omega pin and buckle ref 94512012.
Looks great.

Thanks
It's very confusing as Omega do many different versions and sizes.
The info below is copied from a post by an excellent TZ-UK'er (John Wall) and explains some of the differences:
"Beware the confusions of the black dive strap..!!
The one for the 45 PO is 22mm has a 7mm tang and is serial # 98000145
The one for the 42 PO is 20mm has a 7mm tang and is serial # 98000144
The one for the 42 Smp is 20mm has a 10mm tang and is serial # 98000085
Omega also do a 21mm for the SmP Olympic which has a 10mm tang and is serial # 98000087
The ones designed for the PO's have the words "Seamaster" and "Planet Ocean" on the underside of the straps
Whereas the SmP ones just have "Seamaster" on them."
Whilst on the topic I must say a big thanks to John as well, as he posted out his own 98000087 for me to try - which would have saved me a packet!
Looks great!
Love the OEM rubber for the SMP300,
that looks great. I think rubber looks really good on the SMP. Mine is currently on this.....
It's a great strap, wearing my GMT on it now.
Berrys in Nottingham, were unable to get it into their heads that there were different versions and, God forbid, wouldn't listen to me. I got some minor pleasure from them ordering in the PO version and failing to fit it to my GMT, and being surprised when I refused to pay for it
Omega Westfield posted me one for £110 in 2012, what are they now?
Thanks for the positive comments guys
I know that feeling. Omega bluewater wouldn't believe me either. They said there wasn't one that would fit my watch and that it is a bracelet only version!
Anyway, thankfully Omega Westfield got me the strap and buckle etc all for £149. Not cheap, but I love the look and feel of this rubber, plus It's the only rubber that fits the lugs snugly.
I like that Ian, suits your watch well especially with the contrasting stitching but personally I don't like having that gap between the case and the strap, I prefer the fitted look that's snug against the lug and case.

SMP looks really cool on rubber. Mine says Hi...

I've never been a fan of the black ceramic SMP, but I must say that the strap totally transforms it for me. Very nice indeed.
looks good!
does anyone else find that with the rubber straps, the two fasteners that you put the excess strap into enlarge over time and slip off?
I have a rubber strap on my watch and it seems to come out of place a few times a day which is quite annoying really! Any ways of rectifying it? I read you can put it in boiling water and it will shrink slightly?
Mine says hi back!
Thanks! I've not seen any other Ceramic SMP's on the OEM rubber that I can think of, but it does look great.
That's a lovely SMP, did you engrave the case sides or did it come like that?
No idea yet on this one, however I did boil the rubber for my Seiko, I don't believe it shrinks but it is useful to get it to bend to the shape you want (you coil it in a cup etc).

Its the 150 anniversay edition released 1998, its in titanium and the engraving says "limited edition"

Not sure, I've never seen one like that before?! Mind you so many variants it's hard to keep track.
Don't the America cup (non Chrono versions) have 'America's Cup' on the dial and/or have a white gold bezel?
EDIT: ^ Ah Ok, thanks for clarifying. Nice!

The titanium 2232.30.00, unless I'm mistaken. It was the first titanium SMP, a LE of 1848 with an anthracite dial...and only thing I don't like about it is that the bezel has blue numerals rather than black.
Only available in black, I'm sorry to say.

Omega Rubber for SMP is one of the best and the price has come down or should I say go direct to OB for better price... Ebay listing is crazy for selling it more than 200£ without the buckle when You can get it for under 150£ from OB including the buckle...
