Is this the most unpopular iteration of Daytona hence a relatively cheap way into ownership of this iconic timepiece?

Black dial is quite nice, the worst performer should be white dial or champagne, I'd have thought...
Still bloody expensive for what it is imo.
A bit off topic - but is the black dial also preferred to the white on the 116500LN?
White dial has from the outset been far more popular than black dial on the steel / ceramic bezel 116500, many of us finding that the black dial makes it look too much like a TAG Heuer.
I find the two dials equally popular on the steel bezel 116520 predecessor.
As for the bicolour 116523 / 116503 versions, I’ve always found the black dial to be striking and easy to sell.
I wonder if we will see a ceramic bezel bicolour Daytona at some point. Hint.
Didn’t someone mention in here that the white dial never sold too well in the Far East due to the colour being associated with death?
True.

True.
White dialled steel watches don’t do it for me, but I like white dials on gold or bimetal watches. Black us always a good choice, I would’ve thought the bimetal black dial would sell well.
Although not a fan of the two tone Daytona the nicest combo I have seen was the steel grey dial, really seemed to work, with the markers picking up the gold in the bracelet and bezel and the dial picking up the steel.

The last word is the most important one in this thread. Unless I am reading too much into it.
BiColour Black face is my favourite.
I like both dial colours but I must confess most of my watches have a black dial which I aim to break from this year if possible just to jazz it up a bit.

I wonder if the ceramic bezel would lower the cost? Ha
