Are you planning to be burgled?
Do you have confidence your burglar will grab those two and scarper?

I think your actions fall some way short of evil.

Not evil but not the smartest solution to deceive the scums. There is a good old thing called a "safe/vault".

    Thanking you Mr Kitz.

Your purchase of these fine genuine replica timepieces has afforded me to fill up my last container with young people ready to start their new lives as sex slaves in the middle east.

But what if the Burglar thinks they are genuine and therefore thinks that there must be more good stuff around here somewhere if I just tear the place apart????

You could mount it in the wall of your study behind a badly painted Rembrandt copy. Nobody will ever find them in there.

My dad thinks it's amusing to buy me fakes as presents when on holiday, "How much did you pay for that watch? I bought one the same for $10 in Vietnam", he finds it hilarious every time. Amusingly , a Rolex fake he bought me in 1996 is still running perfectly!

Not a bad way to try out a watch for size but the operations do fund some fairly unpleasant groups

I've always been a bit mystified by the "crime x funds crime y" argument. Why would a criminal enterprise cross-subsidise a unprofitable subsidiary? If child-smuggling or whatever was unprofitable, why would they be doing it at all?

It has more to do with liquidity than subsidising.

If the burglar thinks you leave those just laying around he'll be tearing the place down looking for the good stuff..

Of course it all hinges on the scrote knowing what an IWC and Franck Muller are in the first place.

I have a fake omega. Bought in Thailand 25 years ago. Spends most of its life in a drawer. Changed battery 18 months ago. Just checked it. Spot on timekeeper.

Strange train of thought, I would look to sell up and purchase elsewhere if a potential burglary is that imminent, not leave offerings like Santa is coming..

Certainly did watch it, I should have made myself clear for those that like to be precise with wording, recently I came across a black dial sub and a green dial sub with the complete kit (scums). They even managed to replicate a harrods and bucherer receipt. It would have taken a legendary enthusiast or a expert to tell the difference without having the original side by side.

Just a thought, but I suspect that many tourists to Thailand are paying over the odds for their fakes! You need to find a Thai as a stooge, who will generally be able to buy it cheaper.

So..now we need a fake buyer to buy a fake watch! So appropriate somehow. But do you need a really convincing buyer for a really convincing fake???
