Looks great on leather. What strap is that? Looking at options for mine. Love the close-up photos.

Looks cracking Rusty, it does seem to carry a range of straps quite nicely. Congratulations and enjoy

Yes I spoke to a nice chap who put a note on the file and if one comes in while I'm away it will be saved for me. He did say that anyone called will only get 24hrs to confirm they will come and view before they move on to the next in the queue. Apparently they now have 2 year waiting list unless supply increases.

That’s gr8. Grats. Strange to the docs tho. My AD registered the warranty there and then and gave me it all away with me including the coffin.

It seems to be a WoS policy that they told me was being OK'd by Rolex, but I'd not heard the same about Tudor. I'm not intending to flip it at all so I'm not too fussed, but it does seem a bit OTT for, let's face it, not a particularly high value watch.

Well, yes. Sorry that didn't read quite as I intended. It is a lot of money, for myself also. What I meant is not in the same value bracket as Rolex (or other manufacturers Patek, JLC etc - though I don't know what their stance is)

Seems to be a desirability driven initiative then, not a value one.

I'm not too bothered, it'll be a keeper for me.

BTW the blue NATO is from the BB Blue, I have had one for ages (bought here), and I wear it on my Pelagos quite regularly. It was not supplied with the watch (which I got on bracelet).
As stated before, the Black (with red stripe) NATO that Tudor also offer for the BBGMT can be bought separately from an AD for £150. There is a month waiting list for the strap, apparently
Note also that the Crafter Blue Rubber (see above) which is sold as a BB strap only, does not fit the Pelagos at all, which is a shame. But the lug holes on the Pelago are a lot closer to the case than on the BB.

    Dave
I agree with you regarding FraserHart. I also got the same info from them which gave me the confidence to go with them.

The blue is not as blue as the photo makes it out to be, it’s more blue/black. I’m hoping that it becomes more blue as it fades, but that might just be wishful thinking.

The blue in the bezel is like a midnight blue too that can look black in certain lights so darker might be good

I cannot help wonder why its taking Tudor so long to ramp up production, you dont think its them slipping into Rolex ways and throttling supply? in a attempt to hype the brand etc

Yep, that's worked perfectly for Rolex so why wouldn't Tudor follow suit?

I am hoping it fits well on my wrist. I have a fairly large wrist but might still take a bit of getting used to. For me the Tudor is a bit of a placeholder until I can save up the difference for a Rolex GMT BLNR

Very different aesthetics - I could see the Tudor Pepsi and a BLNR bring the perfect two watch collection if you like your gmts. i have a small wrist and it wears fine.

Thanks for posting these pics. I think I'll be fine with it. I've ordered it on the bracelet in case I want to go swimming with it, but I think it will mainly live on a nice leather strap.

Does anyone know how much it costs for the Tudor leather strap from an AD?

What are the rivets on the bracelet like? Are they noticeable in everyday wear? I’m due to collect a BB58 soon but am not sure on the rivets.

I think in an ideal world I'd have both the Tudor and Rolex GMTs. I travel a lot for work and sometimes to unsavory places. I think wearing the Tudor would reduce my risk of a stranger sawing my arm off to steal my watch. Short term plan is to get the Tudor, then trade up when my Rolex spot comes up.

I might add a Tudor back in the future but possibly a BB58 or a BB chrono for a bit of variety.

Sits really well on the wrist, great size, really comfy. I'm very pleased.

The only thing that puts me off this watch is it’s thickmess. I love he comfort and size of the Pelagos I own but was hoping this would be closer to 12mm thick. Looks great, love the styling just a bit too thick for me with already having what I consider a big watch.

    Got it sorted now..

I agree with Rusty, the bracelet rivets are virtually indistinguishable in wear, but add a little difference when studied. I like them.

Only thing I would have liked is a little more adjustment on the clasp, only 3 holes to choose from.

Quietly impressed. I thought the thickness may have been an issue, but no. Sits fine.
Will be interested to see how the clasp lip deals with desk dings.

No issues with warranty card. Goldsmiths even threw in the transport case.

I asked about the replacement strap costs and was told £150 for NATO, but leather and deployant are sold separately at £175 each, so £350.

Ye goldsmiths gave me the travel case also. £350 seems a bit steep for the leather tbh. Most 22/18 tapered straps will fit the deployant
