I've about 25 in total, not a valuable collection by any means, probably wear approx 8 of them regularly.

Currently, I have twelve watches of which two are very new to me. Of the other ten, I regularly wear eight whilst the other two are kept for sentimental reasons. These range in style from a classic F-91W up to a nice AP 15300. My most worn watch for the past couple of years has been a BLNR which is just so versatile. It is though looking a bit big now I have lost a bit of lard and prefer the five digit Rolex, for example, nowadays.

Currently down to just 3 after selling a few recently.

    1. Omega Speedmaster
    2. Stowa Marine auto
    3. Stowa Flieger handwind

Just ordered a Seiko SARX045 from Japan and when Eddie's shop is open after his stocktaking, I'll be adding a Precista PRS-82

Giving me 5 in total to cover all bases and all 5 will be worn regularly.

    1. Omega Speedmaster
    2. Stowa Marine auto
    3. Stowa Flieger handwind

Plus an i watch long gone are the dizzy heights of Rolex, Omega,Linde Werdelin, Uts,Ennebi, Panerai and on and on
Seriously just find these micro brands more interesting and in truth i am retired and have no need for a watch.

How many watches do you own and..

    Four

My plan was to “upgrade” the 5167 to the 5164 Travel time but AD says its looking grim this year for allocation. Now that I have a BLRO maybe swapping 5711 for a 5712 would be a cool option but just as difficult / impossible to do

If this is the case im tempted to get a Rolex diver of some sort - a 114060 or Hulk again, however ive had those two in the past. Maybe I should be adventurous and go for a JC Deepsea or simply just stick as is and enjoy....

Half a dozen or so for me: Carrera, Longines quartz, Citizen Promaster, Seiko 7002, Seiko SKX031 and a fitness watch for the 'wrong' wrist.

I wear them all pretty equally...maybe less so the Longines as it's more of a dress watch. Like most on here I'm looking to upgrade the collection so keen on a 2254, Speedy Reduced, white-dialled Colt, Aqua Terra etc, etc.

Great collection, I wouldn’t know what to have on my wrist and leave in the watch roll.

    4 for me:

    Speedy

    Citizen Nighthawk GMT

    Casio G-Shock DW-9000

    Orient yellow face dress quartz

The Speedy is worn most days at work, while the Nighthawk is on my wrist all other times on a Nato

The G Shock is great for rough garden and house work while the Orient needs a bit of TLC and a nice leather strap.

3-4 feels about right for me, but plan to upgrade to a proper GMT (Rolex or Grand Seiko), and a diver

I have around 90, about ten were gifts that I can’t get rid of yet and the others are split into vintage and new.
I used to wear the vintage more when I lived in Hawaii, the weather was better than here in Missouri. I don’t want to wear my vintage Grand Seiko, Cricket etc.... in harsh heat or cold, so the vintage get worn mostly for when I dress to go out or on nicer days. Most of my new watches are replaceable, in my mind, so they get worn in most any conditions here. My vintage get handled and wound about once or twice a month if I’m not wearing them often. I have some divers from the 90’s that I won’t wear in the water, I wear them in my daily rotation though. I pick my watch of the day to go with what I’m wearing and what the activities of the day will be. Since I’m older now and not as spontaneous as I used to be, it’s easier. I used to have a couple of diver beaters in my car that I could switch to if needed.
I have lots of shoes and lots of watches, life is good.

    I have about 25.
I used to change every week. I reckon about 15 were worn regularly. I do have a couple that have never been worn.

Then in December 2017, I moved house. The new place wasn't very secure. Wooden framed single glazed windows and doors. So as a precaution, I left the collection at my parents house and just had two watches at home.
New windows and doors were installed about six months ago and the collection was repatriated. However I find I've dropped out of the habit of changing watch so regularly. I now go a month or so between swaps. Only the three or four favourites are getting worn.

Not as much maybe once a month or so

Don't know the exact number, about 300.

Some have never been worn and of course nothing gets heavy wear. Wear a couple on working days, on non working days I sometimes don't wear one at all, though I normally do.

300 and sometimes you choose not to wear a watch. That made me chuckle

So basically I still own a few other pieces, but due to a work assignment abroad, I wore the aquanaut exclusively for around 15 months straight.

To answer your question, yes and no. I can easily live with the aquanaut being the only watch, but on the other hand, its also not the BEST watch for certain outfits, tho it does the job.

Hence I just ended up buying another watch recently....haha but it was a good excersize knowing i "could" live with just 1 decent watch.

I'm on about 23, with another 3 on order and there's another 2 others I'll get this year.

There are a couple I don't wear now - a 'Yes' watch what has a digital display showing actual night and day times for whatever city you in and it just has a single hand as well as a digital read out. Frankly I just find it ugly, bulky and used 2 batteries one of which it zooms through.

The other is a Olympus (as in Olympus camera's) which I bought when they brought out the E-1 Digital Camera. It looks nice - has a skeleton back, and various sub-dials - however the hands on the sub-dials keep falling off and I've taken it to a number of jewellers - only for the same thing to keep happening.

I also own a couple of Pocket Watches - but I've come to appreciate how inconvenient they are - so don't really wear them anymore.

Usually wear a 'nice' watch to work, and then a cheaper quartz at the weekend.

Went through a phase of about a year of not rotating - but now I rotate once a month - I'd find it too much hassle doing it more frequently.

    I’m down to 9.

Trying to get down to 5 or less.

    Currently:
    Tag connected
    Tag caliber 5
    Omega speedie panda
    Rolex 16710 GMT
    Rolex 116613 Hulk
    Rolex current model airking
    Rolex Datejust 16014
    Breitling Skyracer
    Breitling Avenger Seawolf

The only one that’s truly safe is my GMT because I wear it all the time.... it’s got that perfect combination of being dressy, casual, tough, expensive enough to feel special but cheap enough that I’m not afraid to wear it. My Hulk rarely sees daylight because of its value.

    Recently culled:

    Datejust TT
    Tag Heuer F1
    Omega Seamaster
    Monaco McQueen
    Aerospace
    Panerai Radiomir 380

    Bought:

16613 on deposit with Haywood Milton, replacing the Datejust TT gold aspect/blue and sunburst dial of the Monaco

I’m slowly coming around to the idea of having less watches that I will wear more instead of multiple watches sat in the safe and rarely worn.

I’d like to try a 40mm yachtmaster at some point but I think that’s it.

How many watches do you own and..

I only have 3. One is my daily, one is my gym watch and the third only gets worn once a month so it’s going to be replaced.

Small collections mean more wrist time and 5 would give good variety.

I currently own 24 (of which 3 are pocket watches) and of them eight each get reasonable wear.

Some are ‘seasonal’ such as my watch from the 100th edition of the Tour de France.

  45. #95
    25 I own
13 I wear in rotation but 2 are quartz and currently flat out so... that sucks,

I only have one mechanical (BLNR) that is worn around the house or on special occations. The rest (10 or so) are quartz ranging from cheap as chips casios to a 5610 GShock and a CWC g10. I can't get on with the timekeeping of cheaper mechanicals so during the week my watch nurd needs are met by my humble quartz collection. I also don't have to worry about servicing costs - I understand the argument for keeping a piece that has sentimental value going but I imagine most cheaper mechanicals wouldn't be financially worth a service when that time comes. No such issues with quartz.

I own 41 watches. I almost only wear a Orient Mako. It does exactly what I want: being able to see the time at a glance, see the time at night, see day & date, timing (bezel).
I'm building another Mako with a 1-12h bezel for travel.
While motorcycling i use a F91w which fits nicely under gloves.
    F91w or G-shock for sports.

I greatly like my Citizen PMD56, and am thinking about getting a Damasko DA46/47.
Still also want an AP RO and a Seiko Snowflake, even if I'll only be wearing the Mako.
