..... for now.
I've been wearing my manual wind Archimede a lot over the last 6-7 months as a sort of trial/taster to see if I can live with the size, not find winding it a bother, and do without a date. A prelude to a possible Dornblüth purchase. Yes I can, no I don't and yes I can. Alongside this I've been wearing in rotation every weekend the 5 that would need to go if I go for a Dornblüth, to see if I really can let them all go and be left with the Datejust and CWC. To be honest I really enjoy the simplicity of a 3 hander without a date, but I also enjoy the variation of my group in rotation. I think I'm going to have to sell a bike or two and a camera and some lenses! My name is magirus, and I can sell the lot and walk away any time I want, I don't have a problem......

What's the chrono on the right hand side? (Bio-Compax below the damasko)
Thanks
Love my 99.1 but as an only watch?
At at the very least I'd need a beater too.

Wanted - Damasko DC57
Quality or quantity?
Quality wins out every time IMVHO.
Just a word of warning: I wanted a Dornblüth 99.1, took me a long time until I found the right one (blue applied indices...) - and then was instantly underwhelmed when I owned it. I found it grossly outsized, 42mm does not sound very big but this one just felt very wrong. I kept it for a while but in the end almost never wore it, so I sold it again.
If I remember right, I was not the only one with that experience. So before you sell any watches, make sure the DB is right for you.
Someone who lies about the little things will lie about the big things too.
that is a beauty
alas, my wrist is 5.5"
my only option is a jasmin, or possibly a 04.0 (can't afford Q-2010), except i can't find either of these anywhere.
