Having a couple of pints of Ringwood Fortyniner at lunch time means that this afternoon is likely to be unproductive.
Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.

My Wilberforce used to be 8.12 inches (by digital calipers), but recently measured and it's 7.83 inches. I believe lack of use has led to muscle atophy :(

All the women I find attractive are way too young for me, and the women of may own age all look, well, old.

Insurance renewal for motorbike came yesterday, cheaper than last years ??? must be a typo.
Dropped a watch from a windowsill, a little over a metre high, this morning.
I didn't panic, shout, cry, what have you.
I have lost the bug.
Weleda Millet-extract shampoo smells like Jägermeister - I'm not curious enough to see whether it tastes like it, though.

On the technological front, today has been a good day. I had several things on my "to do" list, and got them all done. Upgraded the RAM in my Macbook (one of the early aluminium versions), which only came with 2gb of RAM. It now has 4gb! And, having successfully managed that, I downloaded and installed Mavericks. If you're considering this, be aware that the whole download and install procedure takes almost two hours. Well, it did for me, anyway. And that's without any problems.
And I can now watch the footage from my car camera on the Mac. And the car camera now has a 32gb SD card.
And that was all of the items on my list achieved. Which doesn't happen too often.
I'm on a roll. I just need to get the hang of the new trackpad gestures on the Mac!

No one noticed the fake.
Made my own ghee yesterday. Turned out really nicely - beginners' luck - considering it can get overdone if left too long or rancid if too early.
It has the most lovely caramel, honey-like, buttery taste and the smell is divine. It's like nectar from the Gods.
Use good quality (grass-fed) unsalted butter though. E.g. Kerrygold.
Better (and more healthy) for cooking in than most household oils!
I've just ordered a new garage roof from Safestyle, now Virgo - and have suddenly had the collywobbles about it, though they did a decent enough job of my windows eight years ago.
collywobbles - love that word - a true Lancashire word!
Anyway, I am tired and a bit tipsy* and I dont want to go to bed yet, but alas work means an early start...
*I consider myself tee-total, but I had an urge to buy a bottle of Jack Daniels and I have had about half a measure mixed with coke and it's gone right to my head.
Reserved something online yesterday at Screwfix and then went to pick it up this morning at Toolstation.
Yes, I did feel like a bit of a tool!

A days work prepping and joisting a deck until 7pm and I'm knackered.
Doing a 10Km run in the morning, better call it a night after the second glass of Rioja.
Typical, isn't it? You take your eye off them for 10 seconds, and they go and change stuff.
The Paris - Dakar rally, which runs (in my mind) from Paris in France to Dakar in Senegal, was this year run between Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina and Valparaíso, Chile. The last time the rally ended in Dakar was 2007, and it has been run in South America since 2008. It's just called the Dakar these days.
Curry and beer, bad idea.
Retracted post - misguided - apologies offered for any bending of rules it was not intended to deceive in any way.
