    Both count for me

I've been thinking about picking up a Heuer stopwatch.

Certainly agree on some wonderful Heuer on display and wonder what will be next on the Heuer reissue list.

Surely a Autavia Pepsi gmt is a certainty.

This arrived today. Not currently considered a genuine Heuer by collectors as there's no records of it being produced. TAG Heuer are checking their archives though, so at some point it may be confirmed as genuine. Bit of a bargain speculative punt on my part but I love it so far.

I asked around about owning a vintage heuer. I quickly found out that the availability was limited and prices were something I couldn't justify. However, I found nice a tag 2000 that I intend to wear with navy nato and a 980.023.

    Lovely collection of Monaco's there

I haven't got one in the collection yet as I'm not sure I would get on with a square case. Need to try one on at some point.

One of two heuer stopwatches I own, this one is a bit more special as it is a split second and has a very cool case and movement.

The other Heuer with a Minerva.

Would love that. Maybe we could have a Heuer GTG with some of the owners on here. I'm from Kent but work in the City. Somewhere in London maybe?

Be very very careful, some of his watches will make you realise you may as well give up and stick with a Casio!

Sorry for hijacking this thread but would anyone know where I can source a winding pinion for a Calibre 12 movement (for an early 80s Autavia)?

    Thanks

Not mine, but plenty were on display in the Monaco motor museum a couple of weeks ago on F1 weekend.

    That is so misleading.

    It may be a Monaco
    It may be Cal 11
The original design may be from 1969
And it may be an automatic chronograph

But that is the modern re-issue, the angled pushers give it away.

And the left hand side subdial counts the chrono minutes rather than the hours.
The right hand side one is the running seconds.
Original cal11 didn’t have running seconds...

Seller pic, have this one incoming..

I think this one looks great on a black NATO with gold bars, it'll be for sale as soon as it's returned from a service, just in case anyone might be interested...
