But does anyone know the current waiting list for an Explorer 1 (39mm). Worth getting on a waiting list, or just stump up and buy one elsewhere? (I'd prefer a new one if I'm honest).
They seem to be trading at above list.
There is often an Explorer or Air King nestled amongst the Datejust's.
I had to wait for my AK and then I jumped a small q to get it, no explorers. AK, etc in the local AD window. It does vary by location a bit.

Rolex makes sure its best model is always relatively easy to get hold of.
This is encouraging. Why are they selling slightly above list then?? That’s madness if supply is fairly good.

Enquired on a Monday, on the wrist on the Saturday
This looks so good on wrist! Stunning!

The Explorer is the epitome of what Rolex is all about. A superb watch that tells the time without bling.
As mentioned, less than a month.
Very nice choice.
Make sure when you buy the watch that it says Rolex on it and not ROlex.
2.5 to 3 year wait list currently according to my local AD
Getting harder to find I'd say. My AD used to get one every month, now its more like every 4 months said the branch manager.
I tried one on that’s in the AD’s window just this afternoon. The owner says he’s no one waiting for one so it’s gone in the window but he expects it to be sold over the weekend.
There’s just something stopping me or it’d be on my wrist now.

Any high street AD in particular better than others ?
