Posted this on another thread yesterday but still have it on. It's on a Hirsch PAUL performance strap (rubber backed leather).

    1962 Novus today.

The crystal looks scratched to buggery in the photo, but they barely show to the naked eye!

Will be switching to my Citizen dive watch later as I have a weekend diving out of Weymouth in store.

    Great weekend to all!

Yes, but under my rules only mechanical watches count. I always have a 'spare' quartz somewhere in the house. Useful for setting the time on my 'real' (mechanical) watches.

Presently rotating between my LV and the GS Diver. Both so different for watches that are in the same broad category, each has their charms so a preference is not clear. I certainly don't need both, whether I keep both only time will tell (no pun intended ). HAGWE all.

It's one of a series of models made from the mid- to late-60's, some of which ended up either issued or supplied through the support offices set up to supply US military personnel in Vietnam. I've no idea whether this particular model was used for that purpose but its design language suggests that that is what it was intended for.

Still getting a load of wear.
Comfy on the wrist, and nice and accurate too.
