    Very nice, Jocke.

Did you construct this yourself or did you find the blueprints on the web?

I found the files on the web and make them pintable with a software. Next step is to learn how to make my own files.

That's indeed brilliant, and a bit scary at the same time...Where will we end up if this technique keeps involving? Provided we don't burn up the planet before that, that is.

Fascinating project, dare I ask how long the process took?

That is excellent! I've got to get me one of those. Jocke, how much of the plastic reels did it take to print that lot (approximately), please?

    Cheers,

    Plug

I guess maybe around 25 hours of printing.

It looks like it use 2 meters per hour so my guess is around 50 meter. A reel is 315 meters and cost €20.

Fantastic Jocke, & what a great way to show kids today how 'old' tech that is still relevant today, in mechanical watches/clocks, works.

Love it to bits - I need one as my long-case is disappointingly quiet, and this would drive my Mrs nuts!

That is great; is there such a kit suitable for building up a watch/clock for kids?
