He just did my Longines ultronic chrono for me which shares the exact same movement as this one.

Don't bother with STS for this watch, they'll be sky high compared with Paul.
Paul's website says, he's closed until JUNE! Guess it won't be working for a while then, maybe do the battery thing first.

Ah bugger, he does seem to like his breaks(and why not!). I had to wait ages when I was about to send mine down as caught him just as he was doing a shutdown.

Still at least you can rest assured you have somewhere great to send it if the battery change doesn't give results. The watch looks in beautiful condition, obviously no idea what you paid but I would think worth keeping, you don't see them in that condition too often.

I have contacted the auction house to see what their reaction is, wasn't advertised as working but on the other hand, it wasn't advertised spares or repair either!
Will see what STS have to say, really can't be chucking huge amounts at it however.
Tzer-keitht may be able to help,he serviced an f300 for me but it wasn’t a chrono

That's a corking watch, one of my absolute favourites. Have you pulled the crown out two positions and wound the time forward to see if the day clicks over? The battery in mine currently needs changing and the day wheel looks the same as that with the hands at exactly midnight. That said, as mentioned earlier the day wheel looks to be misaligned in the first image (which I assume is the seller's). Anyway, try a new battery and go from there.

This looks lovely! I love how the bracelet feeds into the watch!

I've never understood the fascination with Lobsters. Crab meat is far tastier.
That however is lovely. I've always been aware of the watch, but didn't realise it was a hummer.
I kind of wan't one, but I don't think I would wear it, looks a bit big for my 7 1/4 inch wrist.

Congrats on your acquisition OP. I hope both you and it are humming merrily soon.

I too am impatiently waiting for Paul at electric watches to resume service. My ailment is a Hamilton 505, frankly I should have known better. Oh well.

A speedsonic is my most worn watch and i know they need a battery around every 18 months, so try that first.

It's a happy ending, new battery fitted on Saturday, sprang into life and is keeping good time.
Date wheel and day wheel seem to be behaving too.
I'm a very happy chappy and possibly the cheapest Speedsonic in Europe :O
