Speeding charge on the A9 - some questions

I'm sure many of you have just been hanging on for this update.

I received my penalty notice yesterday (and paid it today at the Sheriff Court, rather exciting) - £100 and 3 points (yeah, the points will cost me over the next 5 years). So, better than it might have been. Many of you were spot on.

Obviously, I was so pleased (after all, it could have been much worse) I decided to buy the SD43 I tried on this morning. Man maths at its best.

P.S. When I did the trip to G'stoun the other week again, I specifically checked out the roadworks section of the A9. How I missed the many large "40" signs previously I'll never know !

I wouldnt worry about the 3 points- I dont think it makes any difference these days, so many people have 3 points.
