Thread: The Breitling Appreciation Thread

  1. #1151
What do we all think of the new Superocean?

Is it naive to think that Breitling have arrived at a design which will endure for decades?

Right up my street, love arabic numerals & the oversize 6, 9, 12, on this new iteration looks a treat. Would like to see the same 'font' style with the 3 included, & the date at 4.30.
Still lovin' my current SO44 though.

I’ve tried to find a list of Blacksteel models to ID the smaller diameter options - can anyone help?

I had been concerned with the new SO that the numerals were too oversized and that the bezel and dial were too matt, but I saw it with my own eyes in the shop window for the first time a couple of days ago and those concerns were dispelled.

It looks excellent. The black 42mm is restrained yet has character. It looks like a future classic.

I think the black Ti Aerospace is one of the smallest wearing black models.

I have a real hankering for the special edition Chronomat B04 GMT with display caseback. The attention to detail on the Chronomat is just astounding and the B04 is a fantastic in house, true travellers GMT movement.

I do love a Breitling I just couldn’t buy new due to the amount of cash they seem to lose.

  14. #1164
Just never buy with less than 20% discount and your all good. 20-25% is easy to get grey.

Sorely tempted by titanium Aerospace near me, for a very reasonable price.

It's the older E65062, but still a handsome beast.

Well, all I can say is that i have no regrets over getting mine above - a lovely looking watch, light to wear and so far after 3 days, 0s variation. If you get it at a decent price, not much risk to be had.

That is the best looking Aerospace that I have seen.
Do you know what ‘Suvarnabhumi’ translates into English?:-)
Two hints- it has to do with land and gold.

Would have nailed that question even with no hints.
