I had a 2016 Evoque and it never missed a beat in 2 years. Was a brilliant car and sometimes wish I’d kept it a bit longer. Now have an E-Pace and that’s been fine. I wouldn’t pay too much attention to the forum consensus, or you’ll probably end up driving an ancient MX5 wearing a rather garish pair of brogues 😂
Am currently considering either an Evoque or Merc GLC and the only thing I don’t like in the Evoque is the new touch screen. The earlier Evoque was better in some ways IMO.
