    Paging the NATO wearers...

Just a quick question, do you tend to take the free end round/outside the first loop and through the second, or tightly back on itself so it through/inside both loops?

Up through both loops then double back through the top one. If the nato is long enough (Phoenix and Timefactors) it'll also go through the second one.

    Each strap/watch combo is different.

My preferred is over and out

If it’s short over and in

Likewise - I go over and in, but for all of them as I prefer the look to having the tail on the outside. It can be somewhat more difficult if the material binds against itself such as some leathers.

You can only double it back if the strap is either very long or you have small wrist's.

up through both and the fold over (away from wrist) and back through either one or both depending on the length of the nato.

Don't think there's a "right" way, for me it depends on the length of the strap and how much gap there is in the keepers. "Up-and-over" looks tidiest on long straps. Gets annoying when it's too much for one, and not enough for the other!
Tempted to experiment with the bag-sealer I have to see if I can seal cut edges neatly enough to trim all of mine down!

It's reassuring that everyone's different, so the way that works best with mine isn't "wrong" as such.

As the strap has leather reinforced holes, it feels wrong to force it back too tightly.

Out of sight is the best option IMHO

    Please excuse the misaligned bezel.

It’s neater but harder to do and remove on some straps.
