    Forzo Glickenhaus

Got an email from Watchgeko and this was advertised. It has really caught my attention. Not too sure I'd be joining the private WhatsApp group but might be cool to see my name on the side of the car (but there is no mention of the font size!).

Looks to be a lot of watch for your £450. Love the textured dial.

Probably when I've had a couple of beers tonight I'll be putting my order in.

    Comments anyone?

    I like that. Nice size.

The bezel insert markers don't line up at 12 and 3, though they do at 6 and 9. Could just be the angle of the photo though.
I'm not clear from the website if there is a constantly moving second hand. I suspect not. That's a deal breaker from me I'm afraid.

That nauseating Yank will put his name on anything. That's the deal breaker for me.

What next ? A Scuderia Cameron Limited Edition.

NH35 mechaquartz, so no running seconds.

The website says Seiko V64 movement?

    I kind of agree.
I wanted to try one so bought a Newmark, won’t be buying another one.
It seems to me a cheap and easy way to produce a vintage inspired chrono but they lack the charm.

Me too. The last one I liked was the IWC 3740. People want to be seeing something moving when they look at a dial.

    No such thing.

The NH3* series are automatics and 3 handers.

As others have said, this is a VK64 (no running second).

I quite like the look, but it seems pricey for that kind of watch - I guess the 'value' is being associated with the marque.

The 3-hander, I see, has a Miyota 9015 movement, but is a couple of hundred more.

Not sure if it's the unflattering picture but even for the price, that watch looks of poor quality in both finishing and fit.

i wonder whether it’s as nice in real life as it is in pics, i’ve ordered watches before based on pics i’ve seen online but when i actually received them, they were poor quality and underwhelming. it’s a looker from the pics. reminds of a heuer in some ways

Hate the movement. The 24hr indicator seems such a waste of space.
