First time buyer - dealer recommendation in London?

    Hi all,

New user here, I am contemplating getting my first higher end timepiece and could use some advice on where to buy as this, in my eyes, is a somewhat significant purchase.

I am currently looking at either the Tudor BB58 or the BB S&G (with the Sinn 903 on the sideline).

I have come across sites such as Chronext and Guardians of Time, where the price seems to be a few hundred pounds lower than the MSRP, however I am unsure if it is a trade off for possible after buy service/warranty, compared to places like Goldsmiths, Watches of Switzerland, Chrisholm or Harrods?

I dont mind spending the few extra hundred pounds for a better certainty of service later (should it be needed), but at the same time wouldnt mind saving a few quid..

Any tips, help or pointers would be greatly appreciated before dipping in!

    Many thanks,
    Rasmus

Personally I would go grey like Chronext or Iconic watches.
Save the few quid for the next watch.
The warrantee will be fine if completed correctly.
You may have to wait whilst they source the watch and send it to you but I have used Iconic before (my Pelagos) and did not have an issue. I would use them again.

Hackett Watches in Hatton Garden might be worth a try.

This. Never actually bought from Dom at Hackett but I know people who have with nothing but praise. I have spoken to him a couple of times and he's extremely helpful.

Cheers, might try and shoot them a mail and see if they can do a deal.

This. Speak to Dominic. He's a top bloke and from my experience will spend time to help and chat even if he doesn't have a watch to sell you.
