    Yesterday’s Cloudwater delivery

A number went during last night’s virtual GTG!

This one is particularly well appreciated today!

Bravo. Give us a report on the contents please

I am missing Ilkley and the area very much. The missus’ family live there and we used to go at least 3 times a year, during which I’d stock up on local brews from Booths marvellous beer aisle.

Sadly they fell out over Brexit and I’ve not spoken to, or seen them, since August 2016.

I bought two of them precisely because of your post mate! It’s a great beer.

I'm very pleasantly surprised, it's as good as many a bottled ale I've had and obviously very good value indeed for a 5% beer. Buy with confidence if risking your life on a hunter gatherer sortie and stay safe. Here's the Vic looking sad and deserted, locked up for the duration . . .

When all this madness is done, I'll be happy to meet you there one lunchtime for a couple of pints. Someone will have to help the economy recover!

Mmmmm beer. What beer are we drinking tonight?

    Last night went well.

Another fantastic beer from Duration, you really must try these guys.

Crisp, snappy, dry, I dumped the sediment in which actually isn’t a bad thing, slightly bready, hint of fruit on the nose and palate. Very well executed.

Buy direct from the brewery online shop for best value...

This is a winning streak. 4 SRM’s til Tuesday’s a tough call, but if that’s all you have to get you by, it could be a lot worse. Is there a more consistent hazy pale ale in the country? Reckon you’d be hard-presses to find one!

Big fan of this. Like you, when it’s in my cellar it doesn’t hang around long.

Nope, SRM the best pale I've ever had, although Quiet Charge isn't far behind

    Back to last night.

Can’t remember the last time I had a beer from Tottenham’s Pressure Drop and thought anything less than “that’s nice!”

1,498th unique beer since 2014 and very happy with that. Pineapple and grapefruit, sweet on the tongue with a lingering citrus-peel bitter finish...

Pretty much anything by Adnams gets my vote
I stocked the beer fridge up this afternoon with their Rye IPA and Mosaic Pale Ale
I have a load on order as well.

No beer for me tonight as I've a 4.30am alarm call tomorrow, I am looking forward to rewarding my day's work with Neon Raptor's Passing Piranhas lassi gose in the evening though - a 'photo to follow in due course.

I've just one(!!!) can in the fridge as I type and that's the PP mentioned above, I've been looking through some brewery websites this evening and noticed that there are a few that are promoting a "buy the NHS a pint" offer. It's pretty much as it says, basically all money donated to the cause will be used to fund a bar tab to cover the cost of NHS workers going into a brewery taproom for their free pint.

Here's cloudwater's link, I've posted this one as it also lists the other breweries around the country taking part in the scheme. I'll be donating a few drinks.

True indeed. Having said that, if I had to pick a Verdant beer at that strength it’d be MaryLou all day long

What are you current experiences regarding delivery times? I'm had a look yesterday at a few of the online retailers recommended on here and many are showing out of stock and/or extended delivery times.

Delayed for obvious reasons, taking a week to get Honest Brew but bank hol will have thrown it out, I got a Deya direct in 4 days

Deya and Pollys have been great, BrewDog have been terrible.

HonestBrew are variable at the best of times, so I wouldn’t risk them at the moment.

That is a well stocked fridge.

I haven't tried either of the two you mention but I recently tried a Rye IPA from another brewery and was very pleasantly surprised so I will keep an eye open for theirs.

I've a few bottles of Proper Job IPA in the garage. A lovely crisp citrus taste and full bodied at 5.5%.

I'll have even fewer left after tonight

That is nice. They also do a Proper Black, which is lovely, as was Greene King Black IPA, but Tesco stopped selling them. Philistine b******s!
