    TZ Cycling Club jersey design

Right lads, here are my first designs for your consideration

    First

    http://www.owayo.com/cycling-custom-....htm?ID=au1f2x

    Second

    http://www.owayo.com/cycling-custom-....htm?ID=42mj6a

    Third

    http://www.owayo.com/cycling-custom-....htm?ID=08x3dr

The website there has an easy tool to work up alternative designs so if you would like to propose an alternative please do!

I like the Tourmalet, Giro or Galibier design in the navy, sky & gold colourway.

I prefer the more "classic" designs, and am a big Rapha fan, this being my favourite. Something, like this in a short-sleeve with a 1/4 length zip would be perfect:

I spoke to Rapha today. They dont do custom designs but could point me in the direction if somebody who does embroidery. At £200 per jersey if you go down that route, Im going to leave that option to anyone who wants to do that themselves.

But design wise something like that could be done.

  6. #6
Of the three designs, my preference would be for option 1.

On all of the designs though, I would prefer for the TZ element to be on the rear.

That said, I will be more than happy to go with whatever design is favourite amongst the group. We are not all likely to agree 100% on the final design, but to keep thing as simple as possible for Josh, and as thank you for sorting this out, I certainly don't want to make it more complex that it can be.

How long do these take to manufacture once a design is finalised???

They quote a two month lead time once proofs finalised so we had best get something decided before xmas if we want these for the spring season!

a mate of mine did a bunch for his team in the US and tells me it took a while to get the whole thing together with proofs etc

What about if we had the dread sticking out of one of the back pockets?

    Can anyone photoshop that up?

That looks ace Kerry! What do you reckon?

What do we think of the one with the watch just on the back? I know a couple guys have eressed an interest in a watch on it but also want it a bit subtle.

i think we might have a winner here!

Initially wasn't keen on a large Dreadnought, but really like Kerry's first design.

I've got a daft question though - why do we need 'strava' ??

We dont need Strava necessarily. The connection is that the club is a Strava club so it kind of makes sense to use it but its neither here nor there.

With a side design it is on show when in a cycling position from the side obviously but also subtely there when riding, you never see a design on the front really, I think the strava tag creates awareness as its quite a new thing and it is a free and great motivational training aid plus we have a TZ team page.

    My fave is this one

kerry, could you please post up pics of the front of this one as it looks like its down to this one or your side on design.

also, at the risk of being greedy here, any chance of a side on with a smaller watch and hands at ten past ten?

I have to say that the side watch design is growing on me more and more now .
Or we order 2 each , one in Black one in Blue with one design on the blue and the other on the black ?

    This one is great .

Could it be possible to have the main time hands at 10:10 (as they are already) but the the seconds and GMT hands at 5 and 7 o clock (or 4 and 8)? This would keep the look balanced and ensure the logo and the date window are not obscured.

Also is anyone superstitious about what date should be displayed?

I will get on to the msnufacturers but need at least ten sets of commitments and sizes before doing so.

here is a slightly whimsical idea for a date that goes with the Bond theme in the anniversary year: how about the date window displaying 50?

    Josh,

I will commit to buy one in 42 - 44".

Just say when you want the funds and I will BT the funds straight away, whether to yours or an account set up for the payment of the jerseys.

    Regards.

    Keith.

Ps really like the jersey with the large face.

I'm in for one in medium; I prefer the larger of the Dreadnought graphics rather than a 60% or 80% though I'm perfectly happy to go with the flow. I have a preference for long-sleeved as I need to protect my gin-soaked and reddened delicate celtic complexion. Have now cleared space in my Inbox and will drop a note to the email address with details. Excellent efforts by Josh and Kerry so far.

    To answer a few questions:

    Order your TZ Cycling top!
With a huge thank you to Kerry for his invaluable help in getting this sorted, I present the TZ cycling top with Bond with a twist colour scheme.

please note that the precise size etc may change a little when i work with the design guys so size of dread might be a little bigger or smaller etc.

ive pmd a bunch of people who initially expressed interest but have not had many replies yet. So, if you want one i will need a firm commitment from you by email to tzcyclingclub@gmail.com

im going to have to lay out at least 50% of the cost up front so would be nice to know where i stand.

i will need a size from you which you can get here:

    http://champ-sys.co.uk/media/Cycling...ze%20Chart.pdf

please note that we will be going for the club cut not the race cut.

Please tell me whether you want long or short sleeves or both. NB: i will try and accommodate long sleeves but cannot promise this. So if you cant live with short sleeves do not commit to this.

zip will probably be 1/4 length so as not to mess with the dread design

    Hi all,

I've only just picked this one up, I've not been on Strava for a while!

The design looks great, well done to all those involved. I'm sure its on there, but I can't see the cost for the jerseys's, can you let me know.

Do the jerseys say 'TZ-UK Cycling Club' on them?

    Thanks Si
