    Nobody? Anyway, it's a Titoni:

8 years I've been searching for this watch with not a sniff then a few NOS models turn up at a Swiss dealer last week - even the warranty card is signed for this week :D

Speedmaster Professional Sapphire Sandwich, picked it up from Goldsmith yesterday.
I am going to wear it today before dropping it off to the watchmaker for the transformation.
I will post the picture tomorrow once back from the workshop.

If I ever buy another Speedmaster it will be a sapphire sandwich model. Lovely movement view and hated the constant scratches on my hesalite model.

That's suffering from the nasty photobucket blur filter they've annoyingly added but looks a nice. Try using postimage as would like to see that one.

For Citizen it's regular business, so Seiko should up their game as well in this regard. Btw, had the chance compare the LE with the regular black dial one, and the LE came across quite a bit nicer imo. The gray, textured dial and the joyful yellow make the difference.

They both look lovely watches - I suppose I'm a bit too conservative for the yellow

The similar-ish quartz models look really good value at near half the Retail of the mechanical - I keep looking at those, the quality looks really good

It's funny how something quartzy at about 3k seems nowadays 'good value'. Fwiw, I actually agree with you!

    Such a great looking watch!

A Sinn is definitely high on the want list although I'm a bit smitten with the 155.

How are you liking the 103?!

    Here it is.
Long thought process of should I or should I not use Sapphire instead of original hesalite.
Since I already owned original Speedmaster Moonwatch, sapphire was the preference all be it costly option.
Very happy with the result, coversion cost £80+vat so very reasonable.

    Best

Steinhart OVM 39mm just in from Singapore. Initial impressions are very good. Not too heavy or in any way oversized. Just removed the plethora of stickers. Resized the bracelet (very easy to do). It came with a Gnomon NATO which was nice.

You debating a MilSub and testing this out first?

I rotate through them regularly and the 72hr reserve helps as I don’t have to set them up or adjust. Just pickup and go along with my Daytona.
