I'm looking in to a means of mounting the clock on a stand. I'm thinking of something like this, made from Aircraft Grade Aluminium (Ergal). Any other suggestions would be welcome
I received this Sinn NaBo 17 Aircraft Clock yesterday. NaBo stands for Navigation Borduhr, or on-board navigation clock. It has a bidirectional bezel. 3H Tritium dial & hands. The large black knurled crown at 6 o'clock winds up the movement. Below that is the chronograph button which starts/stops/resets in succession. To the right of that is the hacking lever which you pull down to stop the movement & set the hands, pushing it back in restarts the clock.

How long does it run from fully wound?
That stand suits well, but I would consider black-anodising, and using Socket-head titanium bolts for the mounting plate.
(I appreciate you are using the slot-head for illustration)
Really nice catch. Agree a black stand would look great.
The movement looks rather nice
I might be tempted to put it into a skeletonised stand, rather than a plate one.
Less frame, more clock, if you see what I mean?

Good idea, I hadn't thought of that. I've already asked a chap based in Slovenia to make up a Stainless Steel one like in the earlier photo, but with a hand-brushed finish rather than bead-blasted.
It would look well mounted in the centre of a wooden aeroplane propeller on your living room wall. ;-)
