I slightly remember having a few of these on a great day out with one of my closest friends, we were trying all the different bottles in our local spoons. The rest of the day is a bit hazey🤔

Best Croatian lager...at least for me! If you ever end up in Zagreb, be sure to visit micro brewery and pub "Medvedgrad" and "Zlatni medo"

Strong and dark, pretty tasty, doesn't tend to have much of a head but that's mostly down to the way I poured it.

Heading out soon and tonight it feels like a “Blue Moon” beer night, with a slice of orange,of course it might even be a”old brown dog” session.

Don’t generally drink on a school night but this has been winking at me for a while. A pint from the local brewery

The Earl Grey & Blood Orange we’re down to £1

    z
The Blood Orange Wheat Beer was 40p each when I was last in. With the 4 for 3 deal, they were 30p!

I’ve got a fridge full now. Decent drink - could pack a bit more of a punch, but no complaints for 30p!

  23. #1173
We picked up about 12 of each in the end of the Grapefruit IPA, Blood Orange wheat beer and the Earl Grey, fantastic for 30p. Initially bought a few but ended up with a few more on the shelves on subsequent visits

They also had a couple of the Adnams bottles in ours reduced to 50p so managed to get 4 of each of those... I'm sure they'll be gone by their best before dates :)

Beer? At this time? It's a national disgrace, no wonder the country is in the state it's in!

Large cup of strong tea. That's what the nation needs at 3.00pm .

Delivered yesterday, this is one of eighteen from the "18 for £20" thread. It's a month beyond its best before however it still tastes mighty fine to me.

Just gone 12.00 and I find myself in a pub in Thirsk with a mighty fine pint of Maltsmith IPA.

Funnily enough in the last few months I've begun to really appreciate IPA.

Quite disgraceful to be quaffing so early in the day. You'd not catch me at it then . . .

    . . . unless I'm in a pub! ;-) Looks like a good pint.

Just cracked this one open form the bargain 18 bottle for £20 deal...

Not my usual tipple & a bit ‘chewy’ being aged in bourbon barrels & coming in at 11.1%

    It’s a challenging little number.

A challenge indeed at 11.1% , as your typo illustrates! ;-)

Something predictably dark for this chilly night, a weakling at a mere 6.0% . . .

99p/500ml bottle in my local Home Bargains, I cached a couple of dozen over several visits but the stock is reducing rapidly! :-(

An early start int Toon at the Laing gallery to view The Last Ships by photographer Chris Killip, well worth a look, some striking images. Of course one has to return to Central Station for the train yem, so yonder Crown Posada beckoned . . .

    . . . just a half of this dense and properly bitter Imperial Stout . . .

    Stay tuned . . .

That stout was a lovely drink, but it can’t all be 9%, so a pint of Black Gate from the Hadrian Border Brewery . . .
