I'm guessing yes? If there's a market for Vietnamese made pre-owned hard-to-get runners (can't imagine anything worse) I'm sure there's a market for these. What size? Any pics?
Just trying to work out of it's worth trying to sell mine. :) Current list price seems to be £750!
Worn 4 or 5 times max and about 10 years old - but look almost new as always maintained nicely.
All input appreciated!

Just a quick search of sold full brogue listings on eBay, looks like value retention is pretty poor. I'd probably keep them for the odd time you need to dress up.

I sold a pair of very good condition Tricker's shoes on eBay. New £550, mine were seconds and cost 330 sold for £245. They were 5 years old and worn only a few times. Had a few emails asking for extra pics and fair bit of interest: I'd show (with tape in pic) measurements of sole width and length, pics of heal area as well as close ups all round. Helps if you have box and bags they came in. Definitely an interest out there. Bit like cars, once you turn the key!
I tried to sell a pair of brand new Church's brogues on here a while ago, all I got were offers of £100, £130 etc. when they retailed at £500. So RRP is one thing but whether or not people are buying is another story!

Thanks All. They're UK size 8, black, with leather sole. It's probably not worth my while letting them go for less than £400, so I'll probably keep them. :)
Take a few pics and take a punt no sale no loss..
Best deal on Churches ever a pair of handmade suede loafers bought in the US many years ago for $20.00 they did not know what they were selling
I FEEL LIKE I'M DIAGONALLY PARKED IN A PARALLEL UNIVERSE
Church’s are really good for kicking your would be Rolex robber swiftly on the shin. Assuming you’re wearing a watch.
If not hey ho still worth a kick

Have you had a look on ebay to see what the market's like?
I've bought expensive second-hand shoes (Alden) from ebay.
Of course there is, but at a price.
I would like to see them, just out of interest as size 8 is too small for me. Which currant model are you comparing them against to get the retail price?
Cheers,
Ben

Was there not mention of this on a recent thread.
I think it was along the lines of Church's basically doubling their prices overnight to raise the brand.
No difference in manufacture just a gigantic cash grab.
So basically Churches valued these as a £350-£400 shoe and overnight decided they were worth nearly double.
Even at the pre-cash grab price they were generally available at discount .
Good shoes but the new price is ridiculous.

yes easily but dont expect your money back.
Couldn't agree more.
Used prices for Church's seem to be in the £75-200 range depending on amount of wear and desirability of the model. If you bought at £400 used them and are able to sell them for £200 then I would say you've done well. Many of these shoes are often sold well below retail.
People who buy and wear shoes and then expect to be able to sell them for RRP are delusional.
I can’t ever imagine buying someone’s used shoes.

Used - no, totally agree with you.
Second hand - no probs.
I bought a pair of Trickers here from The Gent.
Well under half RRP and they were unworn.
I’ve no probs with used shoes, in fact I relish the saving of resources through this sort of recycling - but I don’t think we are talking about a pair of charity-shop standard worn out and moulded to another persons foot shape.
95% of the ones that pop up on SC are unworn, or tried once and don’t fit etc.
I don’t see that as anyones Used shoes.
(There are the odd pair of beaten up old things that should be donated elsewhere, but some chances their arm on SC - and they at least give us a laugh)
