Another perlon man here! I also love the two-piece ones from Eulit.

The best strap to wear in this hot weather is a jock strap. Nothing else, just a jock strap.

Not the prettiest but essential on hot days. Arrived today and well worth the money.
Another thread necro - I'm using the open-weave Perlons again. Glad I bought several, because 'cheapestnatostraps' no longer stocks them.
Anyone know if anyone makes something similarly light and open, but in metal?
Can't answer the EoS question, but I'm rocking cork in this weather.
Don't just do something, sit there. - TNH
Glide lock maxed out on a watch which isn't top heavy.
Glidelock bracelet for me but im finding a tropic to be pretty cool and comfortable atm.
I dont get on with nato or perlon in heat.
Leather is out, obviously.
Bracelet can work, provided your wrist doesn't swell much or you have a glidelock style clasp, as modelled by Wileeeeeey above. However, if it's loose as shown then my experience is that sweat can make it even more prone to sliding around uncomfortably. Particularly bad on a top heavy watch, as pointed out.
The best for me is NATO. Doesn't make my wrist feel sweaty, is adjustable, is washable and dries quickly. The design means that the watch stays in place without the strap having to be tight. The fact that you can swap straps in seconds means that where necessary, if your wrist swells, you can easily achieve the perfect adjustment between holes by putting on a different NATO with slightly different hole placement.

Definitely a nato for me too, and if working outside the smaller the better. A G10 on an 18mm nato when it's this hot!
I've been using the zuludiver space programme inspired velcro.
Fabric and infinitely adjustable is a great combo in the recent weather.
Nick Mankey for me, works brilliantly in the hot weather
NATO's have my vote.
Bonklip (Joseph Bonnie) when it's too hot for a Nato.

Liking this 2-part nylon strap on my Citizen Promaster 'Tough' - good hot weather strap again, the finishing is really nice for nylon, and it's available in 12 colours in 20mm and 22mm lug widths for just over a £5. From ebay. The buckle's my own addition.
Ignore the whole 'smart-watch' thing - that's just their sneaky way to make you pay more than the advertised price - i.e. it forces you to choose an option, and no matter what the option, the price leaps up from £3.98 to £5.12.... Oh China... You just can't help yourself...
Must admit, I haven’t had a watch on for about a month, it’s just too hot. I’ll wait until the windy season commences. Used to be spring, summer, autumn and winter. Now it is floods and storms (spring) heatwave and drought (summer) the windy season (autumn) and 3 months of mild calm weather (winter).
Funny old world.
When it was 38oC I couldn't bear wearing a watch. I've had a steel bracelet on for a lot of this current heat but I think my FKM rubber strap is actually the most comfortable in the extreme heat.
I find the regular Casio plastic strap on my G Shock to be most comfortable for hot weather.
Unlike Natos and Zulus, it provides sufficient restraint without requiring a snug fit so allowing for free ventilation on the wrist.
Anyone for a ventilated NATO? On ebay @ £15.95.
