Looks great, I still kind of regret not getting a mustang when I got my m240 a few years back.

I totally get it, pretty hard to convince people to drop 60k on a Ford though… so I also understand why they did it!

Andrew you do 1500 miles in two weeks on the bikes when you are on top form. Great thread on the mods you did to that car I remember.

I still wonder whether to sell the Cayman and get a V8 Mustang before it is too late. Cayman GTS is amazing, but almost too good.

Going to hire one for a weekend to see how I get on. My only large powerful vehicle has been an M4 and I hated the size & drive.

At 4am yesterday morning all 5 of us in our aged V8 Jags lined up at John O Groats Sign post and roared off into the sunrise, 15 hours and 18 minutes later we all reconvened at the Lands end Signpost some 837 miles south. A right day out.

I could only find those with the orange interior and it was too much for me.

I have said to friends I bought a 2 seater rear wheel drive, rear engined turbo coupe (no idea how they got it to be a coupe!) and then turned up in the 453.

Turning circle still makes me laugh when it almost pivots on the rear axle. The 981 is embarrassing in comparison.

    It's silly isnt it :)

I can turn around in the main road in the village (and its a a glorified single track) with cars parked on both side.

    Terrible photo.

Deeply impressive car. We are loving it way way more than we thought we would. In fact it's the first car my wife has every said she's loved. Who says electric has no emotion?

Such underrated cars. I used to run a VX220 and many of my mates had elises / exiges. One is now running an ND and says it's just as much fun but waaaay easier to own.

Used to work with a woman called Uta who was quite similar to Brienne of Tarth.

Would love to see her in that Mazda with the plate.

Kept the DVLA busy this week with two bikes and a car out, and one bike and a car in.

My commute is about to quadruple in distance so it was bye bye to my M5 and hello to this very green thing!

That looks a lot of fun.

For me two outgoings in the last month. Consolidating down from two to one car.

First one out was an M4 from this very forum. Smashing car but kept waking the neighbours with the cold start racket.

    https://fb.watch/e0a9cJ7wKe/

And then my S2000. Been my ride from new for over 20 years but time for something a little more comfortable/relaxed.

    https://youtu.be/JfnEQtG3zag

Found a half way house, compact roadster with decent turn of pace but also very comfy. Toyed with similar 22 years ago (got an MGf instead) and 20 years ago (got the S2000 instead). One of these...

I live how Jaguar still managed to make this model look menacing and actually quite attractive despite it being twice the height it should be!

White is a good color for that also. Enjoy it

My wife originally was looking for something 'environmental' for the school run etc. Then she found the f-pace. We ended up with a black 3 litre 16 valve beast. Clearly, social considerations were rapidly cast aside!

    Amazing car though...

My missus has zero need for such a beast. We have no kids. I can't remember the last time she had passengers in the rear seat. She doesn't carry very large objects around in the boot. A thorough waste of money compared to the A-Class she currently has that can do over 70mpg with ease on a run. Still..... LOL. Love the video!

I wanted something that showed I was doing my bit to fight climate change. So thought a hybrid F Pace P400e might be a good idea. (the fact it has 400bhp is purely coincidental)
Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.

Doing our bit, with the Cayman and Boxster barely turning a wheel on the drive, as I WFH and my wife takes the Smart for the 50mile daily commute to keep miles low on hers & frugal fuel sipping.

We should sell one, but she prefers the Boxster, and I prefer the Cayman, so never going to find a middle ground there!

If you want to sell either please let me know I’m after a cayman or boxter…preferably a 987.2 pdk.

1.6l K series tuned to 150bhp. Doesn't sound a lot, but when you only have half a tonne to move...

I understand. Mine is a yamaha R1, again 150bhp but without that unnecessary extra rear wheel it comes in at 310Kg.
K series is very popular in those, sounds like a proper hoot to drive.

What do you do for a reverse gear? I knew a chap who had a BEC but without one. Quite amusing to see him pushing it around the pub car park.
