    ... and then, the final shot of the video, a LR with a non-British license plate. Normally, not a problem. But on a promotional video of a British car, it's a major marketing fail!

    JLR DGAF - it's an Indian company who are building it in Slovakia, its biggest markets will be China and India, the UK is an absolute irrelevance to them - beyond sticking some Union Jacks on it here-and-there.

    Russian plate. Suppose that's where plenty of them will be heading.

    Btw, that car looks absolute sh*te. Money can buy you lots, but fortunately it still cannot buy you taste or style.

    A mate of mine bought a brand new 110 Defender in 2004 from a main dealer. When he collected it, he asked the chap at LR if it came with any guarantee, and the guy said "I guarantee it will let you down!"

    It did - new gearbox needed after a year or so - but he still has it and will never sell it. Probably won't sell my 2000 Defender 90 in a hurry either!
