New Sinn purchase - where would you go?

Not having any luck with my WTB for a EZM 3F so having a hunt about for new ones. C24 seems fairly pointless as the savings will be almost wiped out by tax and shipping, so may as well at least get one I know to be right from a UK AD. Q is do any of you know somewhere good for Sinn which isn't obvious to my Google search or is it just a case of Jura etc?

Neil at Chronomaster, although I'm sure he'll have popped up on a search.

Yep Chronomaster would be my first port of call
Although Francis and Gaye are very good at getting models according to our very own Bazza
    Try them as well.

In stock with next day delivery

Think James porter, Francis and Gaye and first class watches all have the ezm3 (not f) in stock

Thanks. I've never used Chronomaster. They seem a little more expensive for new stuff than the usual but perhaps that's worth it for the service? Doesn't seem to have a 3F in alligator but I'll drop him a note.

Not Jura or C.W. Sellors. They'll take your money, go silent for two weeks, tell you it's on the way, then make you wait another four weeks, then refund you after 12 weeks. Probably.

I didn't know Francis & Gaye were now a Sinn AD but I've used them a few times for Seiko and they've been spot on.

Cheers. I did look there (having always had great service from them for straps) but I'm not after a bracelet and they seem to be out of the other strap options.

Had a couple of things from them over the years and whilst I've not had major problems it felt about as personal as a housebrick in a wall. Not a fan either, thus the post.

    You could try

    https://www.classic-watch.de/Sinn-Pilot-Watch-EZM-3F

Not sure of lead times and obviously factor in 20%

I saw him acg, thanks. Magnificent moustache, which is persuasive obviously, but as you say adding 300 Euros plus shipping makes it a very expensive 3F.

I think they take the tax off for uk sales. So it works out about the same delivered

Ask them for a quote. They were competitive last time I checked but I dithered and the watch went out of stock

Thanks for that. I’m definitely after the F variety though.

Neil@ Chronomaster for sure. My 144 is arriving next week, a relief with Sinn’s current lead times. He was also usefully cheaper than the other ADs too

Why not taking the plane to Frankfurt and visit the company you'll buy a watch from? Maybe nice experience for a weekend?

It’s a nice thought and actually I do go there for work a couple of times a year but delivery times for a new 3f are now November!

Well chaps thanks for all the sound advice. The bad news is that all those mentioned have a 20 week wait for a 3F - with one message still to come back, but I suspect it'll be the same; all of which means CWS or Jura I fear as they're showing stock, although as was wisely pointed out below that doesn't mean they've actually got one.

Jura website site says order now for delivery in 2 to 3 weeks on the 3F. In my experience this typically means, order (and pay) now and you’ll hear nothing at all for many months and only then if you are persistent in chasing (and my experience is based on a time when Sinn availability was not being restricted by the manufacturer). That said, this is not an unusual experience when it comes to trying to buy Sinn from most UK authorised dealers.

Sorry Bazza, am in the jungle in Costa Rica working so only just saw this. Superb advice which I’d taken without seeing it! Bought the 3 and Ryan is holding the F for me for when I get back. Will almost certainly pop the 3 in SC then but it’s doing sterling work here.

This picture is tipping me over the edge.

I emailed WatchGecko earlier to ask about price matching and will see what happens.

Would love to get the rubber for it too as the clasp has adjustment (I think) but the big Sinn text isn't for me.

You can order the Sinn silicone strap without the text on it

I think that's a done deal then! Thank you

Let's hope WatchGecko can price match as they seem like the only ones with it in stock.
