Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations
Update to say the target has been reached. Many thanks to anyone who did donate.
If anyone could see their way to parting with perhaps the equivalent of a couple of beers or something, Retired Police Dog Grace needs some help.

I don't want to get into why she would need our help, thats for another day and place. She has served the public though and any help we can give will be very gratefully received.
Thanks all.

Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.
That's great news Ian!
Got to look after our four legged friends.
Cheers,
Neil.
Bertie's 4th Birthday today! Still a nutter! 😀
Mave and panerai
Not my dogs, but I think worthy of a post.
These were good as gold and hadn't moved for about an hour. They seemed very content.
Just found our youngest pup had escaped into the neighbours cow field.
We are very lucky they didn’t kill him.
And yes, that is what you think it is all over him.

Buster enjoying the chiminea the other evening.
And his unusual sit on the slippy kitchen floor.
If he doesn’t lock the backs in they slide out like a ballerina

Nice! Lots of dog shampoo in the house I presume.
Spinone Italiano perhaps?
Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.
Dog sitting my dearly departed Stella’s sister this weekend. My brother and I bought them from the same litter nearly 15 years ago.
She’s not winking at the camera, poor thing had a tumour and eye removed about 2 years ago

Cone of shame post spay
We had loads of grief using the cones with our dogs in the past. The last 2 we used the inflatable buster collars and they were superb. It was definitely easier for the dogs and safer for our legs, door frames and furniture! Hope she is coping ok post op.
Mable had a haircut today... I like the longer look, so I do try and get them not to go too short, if they do get carried away she looks like Dobby the house elfs twin sister, pretty good today.
Post deleted. Shame some people can’t be more pleasant.

This continues to be the best thread on TZ (even in spite of the inevitable occasional heartbreak).
Makes me wish we had the ability to “like” posts.
Agreed on both counts.
We've just come back from a week in Keswick where dogs are king (and Queen)
Every pub bar Wetherspoons is dog friendly and lots have have free dog snacks.
In 2 pubs we went in people bought our boy and other dogs, pork scratching. These people didn't know us, they just liked dogs.
Over 6 days we walked up numerous hills and round Derwentwater and seeing our boy running here and there, rolling in sheep muck with his his wagging non-stop, what a joy!!!
Every pub we went in post hike had at least 5 or 6 dogs in, all well behaved and all happy.
Yesterday after 50 miles of walking over 6 days we decided to have a rest, our boy was shattered too.
A toast to all dogs.cheers

About to head to a local near me to meet with friends for a meal and drink. I think I'd best wake him up!
