    Holy smokes!

If this is the eBay price then I imagine that the online vintage watch shops are selling these for even more...

    I've got a few...

The WWW's (Watch Wristlet waterproof) aka The Dirty Dozen are all from 1945

The Grana is usually the stumbling block to collecting the full set. It's the rarest & most expensive because of that. The IWC is also expensive & the Longines is getting that way too lately.

The Cyma is a popular one to start with as it's still one of the cheaper ones and has a more contemporary-sized Stainless Steel case.

The one that I like the best is the Longines. That seems to be the consensus amongst WWW fans.

I bought a Record WWW at a car boot for £12, sold it for about 180 quid on ebay a year later, that was about four years ago.

Nice collection. Is that Lemania dial original or an MOD replacement?

That's the MoD dial on the Lemania. I prefer it to the original.

There was originally an order placed with a 13th Swiss manufacturer, Enicar, and a stores number had been allocated. However it is thought that this did not result in the production of any Enicar WWWs. There are no known examples.

This may be a consequence of Allied investigations discovering that some Swiss watch producers were involved in the production of parts or complete artillery fuses to Germany, Enicar being one of them. As a result those companies were blacklisted.
