I will be ordering a vintage grey nato, there is only one Hercules for me though and it was, is and always will be a proper aircraft compared to the goose.

I've been very critical of Bremont over the years and it's a well trodden path in this parish, so I'll refrain from walking down it again.

If I wanted a Bremont, I'd buy one of the standard models pre-owned. That's a decent value proposition. Anything else is of no interest.

I have a Bremont (Alt1-P blue), and love it. It is one of the best made watches I own. But I find the endless processions of all of these Limited Editions (one a year?) somewhat alienating. They all containing something or other, and are priced ludicrously expensively,
I am not sure it does their brand any good.
I know that in the past some LEs have sold very well, some are highly sought after and trade at a premium.
This is likely to tempt the brand to make more.
But more is not always a good idea, and not every LE makes it to being traded at a premium.
This looks elegant, very nice in fact. But the whole Bremont LE thing is a bit beyond me.

There are a few Bremont models that I really like - that is not one of them.
It's just a matter of time...

Wonder if Beaverbrooks would offer interest free on that!

I have one really irrational problem with Bremont (bar the use of the 7750 derivatives). My big beef is London on the dials. England would be Ok, Britian ok. But 'London' looks naff to me; A. They are in Henley-On-Thames (so, er not London) and B/ it looks like 'Links of London'.

One LE per year isn’t OTT...look at Omega for an extreme example

The saying ‘opinions are like a@&holes, everyone has one’ has never been more apt

Don’t understand this ridiculous types of post

I’m not a Bremont owner, aesthetically the MB orange has always appealed, never quite got around to trying it out but will do one day

The whole LE thing is a frustrating one but most brands over do it. Omega launch an LE model if the chief watch makers dog takes a shit, they go from sublime to the ridiculous in LE volumes.

As for Bremont I can’t attest to the movement quality which has been the general theme of discourse at any price point, the LE’s are just crazy money, the bog standard ranges look good, build looks decent, ultimately if a buyer enjoys it who has the right to rubbish that

Sorry mate but I think I'm free to express my disgust about any brand

Having been at the event last night and handled the watches, I was impressed, the dial on the platinum model is spectacular and the rotor is eye catching

This watch is a GMT, no mention of it's function, would expect a proper travellers GMT for this sort of money. Suspect it's a reworked ETA 2893 though.

Totally agree with the ‘London’ marking on the dial. I turned down a Solo at 50% off rrp because of that one word.

I like the Martin Baker range, not too fond of this one although the case back is lovely. The 1918 raf limited edition has a similar very nice case back.
Overall I like the brand. But not at retail

"The 25 jewel Bremont BWC/02 movement is based on the original proprietary automatic BWC/01 calibre built in partnership with movement house, La Joux Perret." So based on the LJP 6901

I just can’t stand the cut off 8 and 10...

I’ve seen and handled only 2 Bremonts, not impressed with their asking price but I won’t refer to them as shitty either...

I’m not knocked out by the images but I think Bremont watches often look better in the flesh. Although non-hacking seconds in a 5-figure watch? I thought you had to be one of the Trinity to get away with that ;)

At least they do proper limited editions in low numbers, and some of the cash glued back to a different charity each year and the launch events auction off some stuff for a charity fundraiser.
