    I'm all white now

No idea why I suddenly developed an urge for a white dial - or two - but I'm very pleased with these two which stand me at the list price of a steel GMT (give or take).

Having posted many times about not understanding the value of minor dial details, I think the Air King text/script makes the OP style dial just that bit more special!

The Milgauss is just plain weird - but in a good way IMHO.

One thing that I do like about these is that I can wear either with almost no chance of anyone spotting the brand.

I've not particularly sweated over not getting the latest sought after models, as much as I like some of them - I know my place in the scheme of things - but I think looking more 'off piste' can be rewarding, and less damaging on the finances.

Two very minor grumbles with the AK - the complete lack of bracelet micro-adjustment and the crown is absolutely tiny, even for my modestly proportioned fingers!

No microadjustment at all on the AK? Thought they had a clasp with three or so points?

I had a quick look at the manual and ‘examined’ the clasp but there wasn’t anything obvious. I’ll double check when I get a chance. Just need a fraction tighter.

    Very nice pair.

I'm also a big fan of white dial watches. I have these two.

I do like that Ebel; you certainly don’t see many around.

Love my white-faced Milgauss too, beautiful when it catches the sun

Some cracking watches there. The Rolex Exp II is probably the most well known white dial in the Rolex world. I'd not seen a white Seamaster before but very striking with the white bezel.

Maybe I'm not done with my white dial mini-obsession ...!

Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.

    Thanks.

Not in the UK. But they are not that rare in Germany and the US (for whatever reason).

Strangely not, for some reason! Nice dial. Not so keen on the bezel.

You are spot on! My eyesight and poor light failed to detect.

Only issue is that I don't think I can adjust without a springbar tool - and even then, not sure I am competent to do it! I'll maybe see if I can beg a favour from my AD. It's an excuse to go in and remind them I still exist.

Thought so... Still, not quite as convenient as the ‘classic’ Rolex claps which can be adjusted with a biro, toothpick, etc...

I know. It's strange. I did tentatively try a toothpick but the end snapped off!
