Anyone watching this? The amount of chances created so far!
Can see Sevilla sneaking one on the counter and then shutting up shop!

Don’t know why they wasted time on VAR for that handball claim.
Tempers beginning to simmer?

No $hit
Hang on...what?
Quick team though, they’ve got some very fast runners in their team.
United lack a top quality striker. If they'd had an Aubameyang leading the line they'd have won by 2 clear goals
Not sure upfront is their issue The front 3 look dangerous and Greenwood is a proper player.
The fact a very expensive (Ł50mn?) fullback who adds little to nothing in attack and now lets the sole striker in the box walk off him is more of an issue coupled with a couple centerback’s who don’t know their arse from their elbow when it comes to positioning. All this topped off with a manager who is Still tactically out of his depth at the highest level.
The being said I do admire United’s consistent backing of their manger to rebuild so would expect them to address the issues quickly.
They do lack a Ruud van Nistelrooy. If they get Sancho, he will just compete with the existing three, pretty decent forwards, none of them a RvN.
I think United have 11 decent players and one way of playing at the moment. It’s okay, but clearly has limitations competing with the best because of the lack of depth and tactical inflexibility.
Also questions about how players are developed and used with Smalling, Young, Lukaku all making a good show of things having moved on.

Utd absolutely pummelled Sevilla for 10-15 minutes in the second half and played some great football. I don't necessarily agree with everyone that they missed chances and a better striker would have scored - Sevilla are a technically excellent team and it's very hard to score against them as they put everything on the line to stop the other team scoring. I think Martial, Rashford and Greenwood are capable enough and very talented - people are not giving Sevilla enough credit. Sevilla and Athletico are masters at defending, although I cannot stand Athletico for their ultra negative attitude - we missed our chances too, like Utd, when they knocked us out just before lockdown.
It's the depth of the squad that's really highlighted.
In recent transfer windows (and it looks like this one too) they've spent far too long trying to get a particular deal across the line, Maguire, Fernandes and now Sancho. Other clubs seem to be able to complete deals much faster. Woodward gets the blame but however they approach the deals it isn't working.
It's going to take 3 to 4 key additions before they will be serious contenders again.
Would be amusing if our cast-offs made it to the final tonight.

I’ve never been so disappointed with a MUFC side as last night. It was as though they’d see a loose ball, make an instinct move, then check themselves.
Too many of them would let oppo players run past them easily - pogba was worst offender.
They had no bite and didn’t play the ref like they did.
Wholly unimpressive performance and commentators saying they’re tired! WTAF. They’ve hardly played for months And are Allegedly athletes. Prima donnas more like. Even the kids
