I'm assuming that Eddie is processing the orders by watch type, or at least I hope he is, as I've a lower order number than that and haven't received a UPS/delivery email yet.

The boss has previously said that orders are shipped in the order in which they were registered on the system, if this still applies then the last item shipped will be the last item sold on Sunday.

How does one explain an order 67 numbers higher than mine being shipped but no notice received here?

I'm simply stating what the boss has previously said, if your patience is wearing thin - perhaps you should email him directly.

I'm sure he has more than enough to do without answering e-mails concerning deliveries.

mine no. is 67700 and I've not received a shipping notice either so could just randon postage instead of in numerical order.

I'm pleased that you see it that way,

The last time I ordered from TF was a Baby Dread on the 2nd of August, the order was accepted at 14:04 UK time, the despatch email was at 15:07 on the 7th of August, due to that being a weekend I received the watch on the 10th. As long as you haven't received the dreaded ''sorry out of stock'' email, chill.

    Agreed,
We are all excited about our new purchase but there are bigger things to worry about. All watches will be delivered all in good time (excuse the pun).

When I last ordered - at the end of June - I received a shipping notice the next day. Unfortuanately a holiday over here got in the way and I received it 5 days after ordering.

You, I, and many others have chosen to buy watches that represent excellent VFM, watches that we're very unlikely to see someone else wearing in the same city, a range of watches where we actually get to have some input in the development process, no wonder the gaffer is so busy, I have five TF watches, which I have a closer connection with than watches costing considerably more.

The orders don't come through from Romancart in numerical order. The numbers are allocated when you put the item in your basket, this means that if you don't checkout for 5 minutes, someone who placed an item in their basket 4 minutes later than you but checked out before you will have a higher order number but I will receive it before your order.

Because I knew that there were more orders than stock for the 36mm Everest, the first thing I had to do was sort the 36mm Everst orders into numerical order to determine who did and didn't make the cut. I sorted the orders into 2 piles:

one pile for the 36mm Everests
    and
one pile for all other watches

Both piles are in strict numerical order now and I'm shipping 5 orders at a time, alternating between the 2 piles. Yesterday I had help from my nephew and we shipped 30 watches, 15 from each pile.

I hope that explains what's happening and why the numbers may be confusing. Most of the early orders were for the 36mm Everest so even though I've shipped 23 of the 36mm Everests so far, the next order on the pile is much lower than the next number on the non-Everest pile.

    Eddie,
Thank you for your comprehensive summary - really nice to understand the process. We knew you would be acting, as ever, inscrutably fairly and decently. Please forgive us for our over zealous anticipation and desirous speculation. We're just like kids and Christmas currently.

I've just noticed that my payment which has been in a pending state since Sunday has now gone back into my bank balance this morning, I have not received the order cancellation email from Eddie at any point, should I be worried or is this normal.

Ok thanks, good to know, I was just a little concerned that Eddie may still be in the process of sending out then Order cancellation emails (or has this been completed) so was on the look out expecting one to drop in my Inbox.

I feel that waiting for the postage confirmation email from Eddie/UPS is much the same as what it would be like to sit, expectantly hoping for one's Hogwarts Letter... ...which I'm still waiting for.

    So that 661 - (8 + 11 + 69) = 573

I assumed £325 per watch (I know the AM and Willard are both a touch more expensive, but there were only very few AM left in stock), so:

    573 x 325 = 186,225

    573 x 10 = 5,730

No baby dreads, I ask he said cancelled.

To those who are pleased with their latest delivery, perhaps you could leave Eddie some positive feedback.

I don't specially like the color scheme, but the lines do help with the proportions.
It will look terrific in one of the new bond natos.

I don't have a picture of the Everest on my wrist but here's my 1016 on my 8.5" wrist, I don't think it looks too small.

I totally disagree. My opinion is that the tapering bracelet is perfect whereas any 20mm parallel strap (and including Natos) overpower the head.
