Looks like he's had a kick up the arse, awesome moves from Button
Jeeesus Jense is ON FIRE - some stunning driving just now :P

Button is fired up and I reckon he can get a podium. I really don't want this to go to the last race
this looks like motogp!
Button is charging now, I hope the stops bring him out somewhere decent for the final stint. Actually this is the best drive he's had for a lot of races!
Looks lke the championship is Buttons if things stay as they are :D
Wow, if he keeps out of trouble Jenson has the title! Wouldn't have thought that a couple of hours ago!
Ruben's punctured - that must be it all over !!
It's the best race we've all had for a long time,Originally Posted by mjrichardson

As long as he makes it to the finish.....
Poor Rubens, wasn't his day was it
Boy doing good :bounce:

He's only gone and done it! Hold in there Jenson!
Well done Jenson :D :D :D :D :D :D

Fair play Jenson :D
That was the best race Jenson has completed for the whole season, he took hold of it at the start and drove like a champion, he deserves the win!
Well done Jenson!
NIL POINTS for his singing though ha ha ha !!
A very worth champ IMO, the boy's deserved this for such a long time :)
Blimey that was exciting for a change...Well done Jenson!
Fantastic for the Brawn team too, considering where they were at the beginning of the year it's an astonishing achievement.
Top sponsorship job but I still won't be buying a GRAHAM watch though. :blackeye:
Deserving champion after that drive! Excellent stuff :D
Awesome 8)
So glad it went to jenson :D
Well done Jenson, that was a champion's drive. Well done Brawn. :D
Gutted for Rubens to get that puncture & miss the podium, but awesome performance from Jenson & what an utterly brilliant result for Brawn.
My youngest boy has Jenson as his middle name after JB and I always believed he would be world champ one day. :D :D :D :D :D :D

I agree, gutting for Rubens, I was sort of hoping he'd make it! Very sad to miss out on a podium at his home GP but he did his bit for the team too.
Brilliant drive, great result. Boy done good!

And what a refreshing change from the brat who won it last year.
Great race. Well done JB
What a star - well done JB - the most famous person ever to come from Frome :D
and well done Ross Brawn (we are not worthy ) - hopefully Sir Ross Brawn come the new year - one in the eye for Bernie and Max

Massive congratulations to the Braun team, what a fairytale ending for them in their inaugural year .
Well done to Button too, that was a feisty drive from him and he took a lot of chances to finish 5th from 14th.
Gutted for Rubens though, I really hoped he would take the championship after years of playing second fiddle.
Cheers,
Gary
WooooooooooooooHoooooooooooo Button Rocks ............................. yes !!! :D :D :D
Cheers

Bugger me....it was almost like watching a F1 from 10+ years ago......excitement,crashes,fires,overtaking,great driving....
Agreed, brilliant race in fact the whole weekend full of drama. Jenson attacked the race like champions of yesteryear, some wonderful passes to get through the pack. Local boy as well, they have a signed picture of him hanging up in the office over at Clay Pigeon from back when he raced go-karts there. I was talking to a guy about Jenson a couple of months back, he recalled one of those races in his early years and said after the first lap he was miles ahead. In his mind it was clear more or less from day one that he was something special.
Fantastic race for a change....Can't believe Bernie Ecclestone didn't press his 'must go to he last race' button, but well done to Jenson and Team Brawn GP, that signed poster in the garage might be worth a few quid more now. 8)
I'll second that!Originally Posted by village

Elsewhere, Kobayashi easily wins 'Rookie of the Year' with that drive.
Agreed :DOriginally Posted by hogthrob
(admittedly he did very well)
Fantastic result, thoroughly deserved result for Brawn and Button :hello1:

Tough season for them and a top drive on the back of some previous good results.
Nice to see another Brit as a World Champ :D

Brazilian fans may be a bit pish, but their drivers are - the occasional toy/pram incident notwithstanding - deserving contenders. And I understand Senna's nephew is to take to the track next year, although it's only a matter of time before some f***-witted wendyball pundit starts referred to him as Bruninho.

The Aussies would probably be thinking about launching an enquiry about now - their man just couldn't catch a break in the second half of the season. Particularly as Button is very definitely English

I don't understand why Hamilton is so unpopular? Regardless of his off track persona he's probably the best out and out racer on it.Originally Posted by catflem
Anyway, fair play to JB that was one hell of a drive. Lucky at times perhaps, but some outstanding and daring passing, especially with what was at stake.
Just a shame Abu Dhabi will be a bit of a none event now. Only interesting battle will be if Reubens can finish runner up.

Isnt Brawn being bought out by Mercedes now?
Not exactly.Originally Posted by Jackdaniels

McLaren are believed to be developing their own engines for their range of supercars and this will tie in with their F1 cars from 2011. Quite what Mercedes will do with their 40% stake in Mclaren is another thing...
