that's alot of Ferraris in one place.
I came accross this video on the tube while getting my daily fix of ferrari exhaust notes.
This video is something else, check out the drive section later on, it is a US gathering of F430 Scuderia's and 16M, part filmed in a 16M.

as far as ferrari drive video's, this has to be one of the best I have seen.
Enjoy. :D

Thank god they let the cars provide the soundtrack when they got on the open road :D

Have a listen to this:

55 seconds in from standstill to near flat out
LOL at the guy standing out the sunroof

Now that is a sound, the F40 does it for me every time.
I havent been in to many Ferraris in my time (you dont get to many in Salford  ) but the last time i went to the nurburgring a young guy was lapping (V quickly) in a F430 Spyder, i was hanging around the entrance waiting for my friend to take me out in his car and the F430 rolled round the corner with nobody in the passenger seat!! i just bounded over and tapped on the window and politely asked if i could passenger with him, he said yes!
Now i knew they are special but this was on a different level! it felt like a go kart on steriods and the noise omg  i was astounded how quick but grounded and solid it felt going round the corners, i am not usually taken aback by power because i have driven a 350bhp impreza for the last 3 1/2 years and drove/been driven round the ring in many powerful cars
As we were waiting to come off the track i asked if he was a racing driver he said no but he rides moto gp/superbikes :o i didnt catch his name but nice fella and he took me out again the next day too 8)
The sound of a Ferrari, it's just one of those beautiful things!
Check out this from 1min on, it's only a short blip, but you can really hear the sharpness of the gear change, and the over run....oh good lord the over run :)

I was at Silverstone for a full day 2 weeks ago and was fortunate to drive a wide range of cars, more importantly for a decent amount of time :D. It was a corporate jolly also known as a networking opportunity if the boss asks
Had 45 minutes in this bad boy 8)
They sound awesome screaming around the track at full tilt.
However there was a Lambo there that was, according to the owner running 560bhp and it was eating everything on the track and sounded absolutely awesome!
I did enjoy the Ferrari no end but for balls out handling the Lotus Exige would be my weapon of choice every time, sublime balance and cornered like it had superglue on the tyres  . Best fun of the day from a laugh out loud perspective was the "Rage buggies" almost the most fun I have had on four wheels............ I was grinning like an 8 year old on Christmas morning after I had finished in them.
I'll dig out some more shots although most of them were pretty poor due to my lens being too slow.
Cheers
Paul
Great noise and venue, must get to Reims sometime :DOriginally Posted by TallTony

Fantastic sound - can't beat ferraris for that!
Would love own one...... but too impractical for everyday usage so...... will have to stick to porsches instead LOL
New Nissan Skyline for me thanks.
Had a run in the new Ferrari California recently and was disappointed. In comparison, a Porsche GT3 I sampled a few days before would have trounced it.
Just watched the clip - do sound awesome with the foot down!
they're a classic but even better is the 308/288 gto which is a different animal altogetherOriginally Posted by boddah
