    Interesting tale, does it say how accurate her watch was i e..how much the 'time' she sold on could be out by?

    Interesting reading, I'd missed that, thanks for highlighting.

    It says she kept her business going until 1940 when it was no longer safe to walk the streets during WW2. I wonder why radio time signals, which were supposedly started in 1905, hadn't put her out of business sooner?

    Very odd captions!
